I use these for winter biking which in my case is just above freezing rainy conditions. I have a variety of fleece gloves I've sprayed w silicone waterproofing that work reasonably well, but these are far better. Essentially cheap synthetic fleece w a rubber coating, they block wind and water and moisture, and remain warm above 32F. I can't speak to how these work as ice fishing or sub zero temps, but for 10 bucks they work better than what i currently have which is mostly cold damp high windchill conditions. The sizing is accurate, the XL I ordered fit well. Not especially good for touchscreens but I found them think and comfortable.

Update- Just received winter version of these gloves. They are terrific. The thick, soft lining will be keeping my hands warm and dry as I tend to my bird feeders and bird baths. Another 5 star product from this company. Update- I have now used these gloves a number of times. I use them to clean out bird baths so water is not what i want to be in contact with. These gloves do a great job protecting my hands keeping them away from the gunk and other nasty stuff. I then use them to fill bird feeders so their tactile feel comes into play. Handling greasy bird suet is pretty messy so gloves again prevent contact with the suet. And when i’m done with my bird chores i turn on the hose wash the gloves and they are good as new. They fit great, i wear an xl and the ribbed fabric around my wrist keep it all sealed up. These are great gloves and i highly recommend them. First time I used them and they kept water out, I think? Since it’s all rubber hands sweat inside. So hands come out wet, just not from the gunk you are touching. Good grip and tactile feel.

These are simply NOT -20 degree gloves. Perhaps, if you are working pretty hard and dressed warm, your core temp will be warm enough to keep your extremities warm with the help of these gloves. But if you are standing on the corner, waiting for the bus, these won't keep yours fingers warm in anything much less than freezing. I went on a walk in 28 degree weather. My fingers started off pretty warm after leaving the house. 10 minutes into the walk, my fingers were cold. 20 minutes into my walk, I had to curl them up, inside the palm of the glove to keep my fingers warm (kinda like a mitten). At around 45 minutes and after I had jogged some, I started sweating and so did my hands. They are really nice gloves. The wrist portion is NOT waterproof, but the fingers, the palm and most of the upper portion (dorsal side) of your hand is protected and waterproof. I think they would be good for ice fishing....or picking up duck decoys if you are a duck hunter. And good for generally working in cold (but not really cold) temps. If simply standing or sitting...I don't think they would keep you warm below 32 degrees. But otherwise very nice gloves.

These gloves were extremely durable and kept my hands warm and completely dry while lobster fishing. They held up well in wet, cold conditions and provided a solid grip the entire time. I’d definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone working on the water.

As advertised! Warm a bit thick but once worn in their comfortable the fit that snug at first but they loosen up eith use quality is decent the lip at the wrist could use some extra stitching cause thats where someone is going to pull to get the hand into the glove✋️ thata the only down side i see to them other than that their good and the colors cool too bright and visible so you know they wont just disappear on you

Good waterproof gloves, not very warm. Tips of fingers still got cold but maybe because the gloves run extremely small and cut off circulation to tips of fingers. The sizing chart is not very accurate.

The gloves fit great! They’ve kept my hands warm and dry working in a blizzard. I would buy these again

My husband is a land surveyor. At first he teased and isn’t a huge gift giver or receiver. It’s a huge deal for me when he enjoys the things I buy him. He always expresses,” don’t buy unless I need it!” It snows out here and after some time researching other gloves and reading reviews and the deals near Black Friday. I got these gloves for a great price! He loves that when he uses an axe it tightens the grip. He loves that they keep his hands warm and he even decided to buy a pair for my dad and his co worker. Coming from a man who doesn’t like to spend let alone receive gifts this was an all around win!

How are they winter gloves when they have no lining. $12 a pair for summer disposable gloves. Rip off

It is always good to get well prepared for the winter time, especially for the city of Saskatoon. We have quite long winter time. I am so happy to get these two pair of gloves. My son always lost the gloves in the winter time, so I would like to reserve couple of more beforehand. I really like these pair of gloves as they are water proof so that I can use them to shovel the snow and clear the window in the winter time. They are very good quality with a reasonable price.
