Good repalcement
Worked well to 'better seal' a door with an old seal. Not as good of a fit as the original but is better than the original that was worn and old. Easy to install the quality of product is good. Was definitely easier than replacing all the wood and seal from the original door.

Does not work great on the upper side as it will snag the door if it is a good fit
I ordered this for a 8x8 garage door that I had built on a lean to and because there was a huge gap at the top I wanted something to cover that area.I figured this would work and it does somewhat but since the door gets 'bigger' when it rolls up it presses outward and will catch. I moved the top seal 5 times trying to make it work perfectly and it just makes the gap when your door is closed bigger and bigger. The way I settled on is that it does rub a decent amount when it is about 3 feet from the top but it closes good enough. As you can see there is a gap when the door is closed but it is better than it was. The pull against the seal when the door is going up is enough right not to pull the seal off some but the screws hold it.On the sides this would work as a better seal but I did not want to use it on the side as that was not an issue with letting air and water in for me.Overall, this is a decent seal kit but don't expect the top to be perfect or be against the door when it is down all the way. The plastic screw covers are a nice look and helps keep the screws from pulling through the seal when you are screwing them in. Oh, make sure to use an electric drill for installation or it will be very painful.

Needs better adhesion
This works good. I did have to secure in place with staples as the adhesion wasn’t strong enough for the wind at our house. Easy to cut and install. Seems pretty durable once staples down.

easy to use and corrected gaps
I recently received the Garage Door Seal Top and Sides Seal Strip in 36 foot length. This was exactly what we needed to reseal our garage door. We decided to install this on a warm day. We let the roll heat up in the sun a little making it easier to work with and a little more pliable. It was easy to peel, cut, and attach. We no longer see a gap of light coming from the sides of our garage door. I live in a very rural area and this can avoid field mice coming in through any gaps. The length worked well for our two-car garage. I feel this is a smart item to save money on household heating expenses, and tightening up the garage can surprisingly help a lot with that. This also provided a nice finished look.

High Quality Weather Stripping
This is high quality weather stripping made of ThermoPlastic Elastomer (TPE), which has numerous benefits such as extreme resistance to UV and Ozone radiation, and complete impermeability to water absorption, all three of which are primary causes of degradation in weatherproofing materials. The Ginchain weatherstripping is very easy to bend, cut, shape and drill through. I was able to install this weatherstripping around the opening of my 2-car garage door in about an hour. I am very pleased with the way it looks and performs.I was worried I might not do a good job of installing this weather stripping because I've always felt uncomfortable with the unintuitive shapes of weather stripping, but I took my time to study the situation to understand how it was intended to work and to make sure my installation would be a success. The stripping has a ridge that runs along the length of it. Simply but that ridge up against the garage door frame (meaning, the building frame) remove the red backing of the adhesive strip as you lay down the strip, not all at once, but work to align the ridge with the edge of the edge of the door jamb about 2 feet ahead to ensure you get nice straight sections when you tack the strip down. I stapled the beginning of the strip to keep it attached, and so that I could lay down the rest of the strip without having to press down on the adhesive until I was happy with the alignment. One staple is all you need for the vertical strips, but the horizontal strip will require stapling at regular intervals to avoid the heavy strip from falling as you tack it up and check your alignment prior to securing the strip permanently. The staples can be removed afterwards. When it comes to small holes like those made by stapling, the material is self healing, so any work you do with the temporary staples becomes invisible in the end.Cutting the material is super easy and the results look best when cut with scissors. I found that a good set of Cutco kitchen shears worked best. Sheet metal shears also do a good job, and as a last resort, you can use a utility knife with a sharp blade.Be sure to STUDY how your corner cuts need to be made by inspecting the join from the outside of the garage, with the garage door closed. The angle of the flap on the strip changes from an open-door angle to a closed-door angle because the strip works by the flap remaining pressed against the face of the garage door. So as the garage door is closed, it pushes against the flap, pushing it out to it's closed-door position. It is this angle that you need to cut into the corners, generally a 45-degree angle (or thereabouts). I cut mine by eye (no protractor or angle measurement). The standard 45-degree corner angle could vary depending on any variance in distance between the garage door and the door jamb, if those variances are excessive.I don't want this to sound like cutting the corner angles is as critical as cutting dovetails in a woodworking project, it's not - so don't worry too much - and just be sure to leave yourself some extra length at the straight-cut end of the weather strip. If you mess up your cut, you can always reposition the strip (using the extra length at the end) and try it again. Your best bet would be to derive your angle cuts by using a couple of 6-12" pieces as test cuts/templates, if you can afford that much waste. I have a standard two-car garage and I had about 5-6 feet of stripping left over (see photos). The self-drilling screws work well to keep the strip permanently attached. The decorative screw caps serve well as washers, but are hit-and-miss when it comes to being snapping closed and staying snapped closed. Some of the caps snap on easily and stay snapped well, others need some finessing, and yet other caps refuse to snap on no matter what you do. I resorted to using hot glue on the caps that wouldn't stay snapped on. If you want a more industrial look, just leave the caps off and/or paint over them. Now that it is all said and done, I have a very nice weather strip on my garage door that lays nicely on the face of the door (which is panelized and has windows at the top as well). I expect that it will do a great job of keeping the debris (leaves, dirt, dust, grass clippings and bugs) out of the garage and am very thankful for that. I should have done this long ago.

Just what I needed
Even though it's a little shallower than my existing. It fits, works, and looks great. No issues with creases or kinks. It's soft and pliable which makes it easy to work with. Easy to cut as well. The adhesive backing is strong and combined with the hardware included, I have no concerns with this product performing well and lasting a long time.Great value and I definitely recommend this product!
