Petrol Hedge trimmer

It came well packaged and ready to go. Looks good and works well. I wanted a longer bar and this one fitted the bill just fine. It is well made and can be used professionally. It starts first time every time without any hassle and that's what I wanted.

Really good machine and as it has a 30 Ins blade it completes the big hedge work quickly and with a good wide opening to get the thicker branches of the hedge. My advise is slow gradual passed over the hedge to get the perfect height trim. Some people had issues with its weight but with the side handle placements I though it balanced really well during operation but take a break every !5 min and check for fuel and after first use some bolts may loosen a little with the vibrations but they give you two handy Allen keys to tighten again. Easy to start with easy access choke and primer bulb. Good instructions with a BIG reminder that this machine is a 25:1 petrol oil mix . Really easy blade to sharpen after the hedge season. As with all two stroke machines I think a new machine needs to be run in before it’s first use. ie 15 min on idle then 30 mins off to cool, then repeat. This allows the ring to heat sink . At the price point of this 30 inch blade machine it’s great value . Highly recommended . It’s all metal construction but the handle / throttle is a strong plastic but in the ‘rough and tumble’ of hedge cuttting you need to take care of the handle / throttle component .

Filled with petrol started easily,though it might smoke a bit with 25:1 mix but it doesn't,it runs fine not a lot of vibration and cuts really well,the deflector on the blade is a nice feature it sends all the clippings onto the floor.it does not use a lot of fuel and I found it easy to use with the handles in a comfortable position.i am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it especially as comparable machines seem to be at least three times the price.

plenty of power really good little machine, perfect for large garden

I have had this machine since Aug 2020, it has been a reliable bit of kit no problems with starting, running etc until 28th Aug bank holiday. Starter rope stayed out unable to release it, emailed suppliers, Tuesday phone call from them. Wednesday another call part is on it's way. Thursday lunchtime piece arrived fitted and working. Brilliant company what's not to like.

Good quality for the price, cuts really well, handles well too.

Having used this for a couple of weeks I'm quite impressed. The 30" blade made short work of our established laurel and beach hedges. Good solid all-metal construction, starts first time every time so far. The packaging and instructions are generic, looks like G-Tech buy in and badge it with their name but nevertheless it looks to be well designed and built. The sideways grips I found very easy to use. Be aware it's quite heavy (5.4kg)

Plenty of power and the cutting ability of a pro machine (long bar and can cope with big diameters). But it has big flaws which make it unsuitable for real big jobs:-weak plastics (trigger broke after few hours) and poor quality fixing impact durability-very very high vibration level make it unusable for any length of time-loose tolerances in engine means very rich mix, high consumption and exhaust position is very close from the operator
