Don’t listen to the negative reviews, this is a great purchase. Great machine for fraction of price. Coffee always brews well as long as you know how you like it, take time to pick the coffee grounds you like and work out how much you need to get the taste right for you. I use 2 and a half scoops and the water up to 6 to brew 2 good cups in the morning. Tastes good with or without milk.

I love the timer function, it’s great to have fresh, hot coffee at 4am.

Great machine very easy to use and clean makes great tasting coffee

This is a compact and nice looking filter coffee machine which works as you would expect, it has "Strong" and Timer features which seem to work well. As others have said, it would be nice if it kept the coffee warm for longer. One thing I found quite irritating is the clasp on the lid is far too tight which makes it a two hand job to open, one to hold the base and the other to prise open the lid. Fingerprints all over the nice chrome finish! I snapped off the "lugs" in the lid so there is no resistance at all when opening. Perfect.
