This is my favorite tool to clean up my chicken run! I have gone through a few different sifting scoops that have broken or not been effective for my setup. I have an enclosed run filled with sand, and this scoop is perfect to sift out only the chicken waste, and leaves the sand behind. It's sturdy, but definitely not meant to be used as a shovel. If you only need a sifting scoop, this is perfect. It's also a lot bigger than the cat litter sifting scoops that are available. You don't have to bend over either, since the handle is long. All of the pieces seem to be metal, not just cheap plastic. My last scoop broke because of poor quality plastic pieces. I've been using this scoop for a couple months now and am completely satisfied.

Works great, easy to put together. Size is perfect, I’m 5’4 and I can use it with ease. The weight is light but doesn’t feel cheep. Makes cleaning all the coops a breeze and so fast.

Pros: It is easy to put together, easy to rinse off, & the handle size is just right. Cons: the holes are a little too big. It is awkward to handle, as the head of the shovel doesn't feel sturdy enough to pickup & shift the sand & chicken poop. There is a need for more strengthening of the handle & shovel head.

I love the scoop and how it filters the droppings and sand. The pole handle is a bit flimsy though so I’m concerned with how it will last long term! But so far it is working well! May have to attach the scoop to a wooden handle.

Do NOT buy this. I ordered this for my daughter, and she said she liked it. A month later I orded one for myself. It is so cheaply made that it broke on me the first time I used it. It is like the handle is made out of tin foil! Mine broke off of the scoop doing the job is was supposed to be designed for. I have about 2 inches of sand in my coop, and it couldn't handle even that. I told my daughter and she said her's broke too but she didnt want to hurt my feelings and tell me I bought her a cheap and flimsy scoop. WAY too much money for the quality! Only good thing about it is the hole size in the scoop.

Unlike other scoopers, this one lies flat to the ground while standing which keeps you from bending over as much. The scooper is wide with a high back so you can scoop several times in a row before emptying. The holes are small so the sand sifts through easily but catches the smaller droppings. Very pleased with my purchase. It's a real time saver!

it works exactly as it should. Not heavy and is a decent size to clean the sand in my chicken coop. The cost is a little much as it seems to be a bit weak but should hold up for the need to clean sand for my chickens
