The Original Pipe Insulation Cover (5˚F) Winter Pipe Insulation (UV-Coated),Pump Cover, Sprinkler Irrigation Valve Cover, Backflow Preventer Freeze Protection(17W X 20H)

In SE Texas the summers can be around 100 degrees for weeks and the winters have been in the teens. I put the cover on and leave it to protect my above ground lawn irrigation system control system pipes. This protects from the hot sun and insulates from the winter cold. It lasts for about 5 years and hides the pipes from the street and looks neat and clean behind my plants.

This has been a great irrigation backflow cover. Mine was a Febco 765 unit from Hme Dept with a bit of a strange size. I emailed customer support and Kely recommended the larger size, 19W X 25H, which I ordered. I am so glad as the smaller unit would not have fit, but this fit perfectly. I am very pleased with it, nice, close fit around the backflow, with velcro at the bottom to further cinch it closed.It is heavy duty and much better than I anticipated for Colorado winter. We still turn the water off to our sprinklers due to our low temps, so I use this more to keep it out of the elements instead of relying on the insulation to not allow the water in the backflow to freeze. After replacing too many of these before buying this cover, I'm not willing to take that risk. I am very pleased with the cover and would definitely recommend it.I had the unfortunate experience where the delivery would have occurred during the US Capitol riots in DC, on the east coast of the US. Apparently everyone stopped doing everything to watch and wonder if it was the end of the world. It took 15-days for the cover to ship from Vegas to Denver. The product is wonderful, but USPS and Amazon shipping sure left a bad taste in my mouth. It was a wise move to not offer a method to rate the shipping on purchased products. Kind of an interesting decision, hunh? Unfortunate because I really like this. I recommend.

Had to install a backflow valve this year to satisfy a new law. Cold weather hit and I tried to cover it with a towel but wasn't satisfied. This arrived and it appears very sturdy and looks a lot better. Recommend this product.

The bag is nice and roomy with strong velcro the full length of the opening. Not very thick, but seems substantial. We haven't had a lot of cold weather yet. I expect it to work just fine.

I ordered 36x24. The picture on amazon shows open on 24 side, but what I received has open on 36 side. Useless. Will return.
