LHM A2338 Screen Replacement for MacBook Pro 13.3" M1 2020 M2 2022 Retina EMC 3578 EMC 8162 MYD83 MYD92 MYDA2 MYDC2 MNEQ3 MNEP3 2560x1600 Full LCD Display Assembly with Fix Kit (A2338-Silver)

Used this for my A2159 2019 MBP after getting the pink bars. I was quoted $700 for a repair from Apple.The screen itself works fine. The display is indistinguishable from the original one and the screen itself includes all the same branding, but the rubber around the bottom of the screen is not as flush as the original (shown in picture). A minor detail no one would ever notice unless they had been spending a couple of hours staring at it under a magnifying glass like I was.Came well packaged in a protective cardboard case. I was concerned it would be damaged in shipping but that’s virtually impossible the way it was shipped. Shown in picture.This is listed as a “frequently returned item” and I can see why. It is not because of issues with the product, it is because this is a difficult repair to do. Lots and lots of very small parts.Some tips based on my experience:Get about 7 shot glasses to hold the different tiny screws from each step. Also get a magnifying glass with a light. I picked up one on a boom that clamps to my desk for about $30.Hopefully you have an external mouse and keyboard handy and a second screen. If you plug in a second monitor and then close the lid, the second monitor will become the primary monitor and then you can run the command to turn off auto boot. Note that turning off auto boot still makes the screen turn on briefly when the lid is opened, but it does not boot.The instructions are pretty simple but the written instructions are in a slightly different order than the video instructions, which makes it confusing if you’re following both, but the written instructions are more useful and include very good, color images. The illustrations matched my A2159 perfectly.One last word of advice. Be very gentle and patient with the screws. They strip very easily. Unscrew slowly and don’t use any force when putting it back together.This repair does not require particular technical skill, but it does require both patience and a little bit of intelligence. This is not an overly difficult repair, but it is not an “anyone can do it” repair.

This repair kit worked beautifully - Not only is the screen of high quality, with good color and brightness, but the included instructions and tools were everything I needed to complete the job. I was done in an hour, and the laptop is back to working again!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased a MacBook Air replacement screen in December and had it dropshipped to Costa Rica—a costly and complicated process. Less than two months after installation, the screen developed a thick black bar, rendering nearly a third of it unusable.I contacted the company on March 30th, well within the 1 year warranty. They admitted it was a hardware issue and promised to send a replacement to Costa Rica. Despite confirming my location early on, they later claimed Amazon couldn’t ship here and instead offered a refund, which I declined—I needed a working screen, not a refund.I asked them to please find an alternate shipping method because I coudn't afford to pay TWICE for the shipping for something that was THEIR fault (shipping alone was nearly the cost of the product and it was already going to cost me another 2-3 weeks to get it). They stopped responding. Earlier this week, the screen completely died, and I’m left without a working laptop—which I depend on for work.This isn’t an isolated case—apparently, many reviewers report similar failures. The company’s polite but ultimately ineffective support and lack of accountability left me covering the cost and logistics AGAIN for THEIR defective product.Their warranty means nothing if the product doesn't last even two months. I won’t buy from them again, and I urge others to avoid wasting their time and money.

This screen works beautifully and was fairly easy to install! Such a great alternative to paying a company $400 to repair! It looks brand new again!

Good display. Color matches the body and the Apple logo is exactly same as original. Installation is not that difficult, but there is an issue where page 17 of the included manual references "T1 Torx to remove 1.5mm screw securing the lid angle sensor cable to the left hinge", in my case that turned out to be T2 Torx, was not included in the kit, and I had order one from Amazon. I ordered Sharden small screwdriver set (item B0CCTNX9GY) and used T2 Torx that came with it. For this reason I took off one star. The other issue is the fact that the manual does not mention removing metal bracket that secures the LVD cable from old screen to then use in new screen. Without this metal strip, the cable will not securely sit on motherboard. Other than these issues, LCD works well, has good brightness (see photo) and so far no issues.

Great product with all you need to instal it. Easy steps to assemble and it works fine.
