Great quality and clean supplement!
I’ve been using this L-Citrulline Malate powder for better workouts and energy, and it really helps with endurance and blood flow. It mixes easily, and there’s no weird taste since it has no added flavors or sweeteners. I like that it’s non-GMO, gluten-free, and made in the USA in a clean, certified facility. You get a lot of servings in one bottle, and it’s free of all the common allergens. Just a solid, no-nonsense supplement that does what it’s supposed to.

Best Naturals L-Citrulline Malate 2:1 Powder A+
Best Naturals offers this L-Citrulline Malate powder in a big ol' one-pound tub. The packaging is simple, focusing on the 2:1 ratio, which sounds like its meant for serious fitness enthusiasts. But, like a lot of these, there's not much on how to best use it for different goals. If you're into bodybuilding or need a bulk supply, this might be your go-to, but you'll need to figure out your own dosages. Fun Fact: Best Naturals is run by a former professional bodybuilder who turned his passion for natural supplements into a business.

Not as strong
This seems like a bargain at first. It has no other ingredients added and it is not as sour tasting as the previous brand I was using. However, it does have a few detractors that make me rate it the way I did. One, there is no scoop in the container as far as I could see. I dug 3/4 the way through the container, making a mess before giving up. So figuring out a serving size isn't the most precise-unless you have a scale and want to weigh it out to calculate it. I also take a 5-8g serving size, so saying this is 151 servings isn't accurate, as it is calculated on a 3g size. There is also zero disclosure where this is sourced from, i.e. overseas. Lastly, I feel less cognitive boost-the clearing of brain fog I usually get from l-citrulline, when taking this brand's product.

I get a good Nitric Oxide type workout boost using this supplement
I am continually trying out and switching the workout and health supplements that I take. I do this to help keep my body from getting used to any one particular supplement, brand or mix in particular. When I read that L-Citrulline Malate is known to enhance nitric oxide (NO) production in the body, which can lead to improved blood flow and nutrient delivery to muscles during exercise, I wanted to give L-Citrulline Malate a go. So when I saw this come up, I decided to get it.I get a good NO type boost using this supplement, as in a bit more energy and pump. I find that I can push out an extra rep or two, or add a little bit more weight, or both. FYI, I usually get these type of good effects from taking regular NO supplements, so if you do as well, then this L-Citrulline Malate supplement might work well for you too.I have tried other ratios of this supplement in the past, but for me the L-Citrulline Malate 2:1 ratio seems to work the best for my workout boost. This is an unflavored powder that mixes rather well. The container has 151 servings of 3g a piece which is the amount that I usually add to my pre-workout drink. I often take another serving after my workout. This container should last me almost 1/2 a year.

BestNaturals Ignored Request for 3rd Party Testing
I emailed them months ago asking for copies of their “Third-Party Testing” for this product. They acknowledged my request but never got back to me. If it’s too good to be true…

Question on quality
I have been using L-Citrulline Malate for years now, both as part of my pre-workout stack and also as a daily supplement.Everything on paper looks good.Good price.Label says 3rd party tested. But according to Consumer Labs (A third party that posts their tests) Their L_Citrulline capsules was the only L-Citrulline that did not pass their test, it only had about 80% of what the label claimed. This also seemed to be true of other products from Best Naturals. (As shown in third party tests I have sourced)While Consumer Labs did not test this actual product, I still feel the quality of this brand overall is questionable. So if I was only getting 80% of what the label claimed would I actually notice it? Probably not. That being said - this is still a good price and I prefer powder over capsules. But I will be sticking with my regular brand after finishing this container.
