Dissolves in hot water, unlike other gelatin
I was hesitant to purchase this product from China, but since I'm only using it to make bird seed cakes to put inside a wire basket and hang on a tree branch, this gelatin has dissolved well and becomes very firm. It doesn't alter the taste of the bird seed cakes since the birds and will peck away at the seeds and the squirrels suspend themselves from a tree branch and hang upside down to pull the seeds out of the basket.

Seems like a good product
I'm not sure if this works or not, but I think it helps. I don't like when I let it sit for a minute after I put it in the glass with liquid because it will form a gelatin blob at the bottom
