Excellent Quality
I've been buying some good peppers from Amazon just lately, I can confirm that this is one of my favourites, really punchy flavour. it compares well to the Kempot I normally buy for more money.

Lovely, but fairly expensive.

Really tasty
I just looked at various types of black pepper corns. These particular ones from India seem to have come out as the best on various places I had read. I must say they are so much more full of flavour than the basic supermarket ones. Much more punch and really enjoyable.

I love pepper on my food, and had no idea that not all peppercorns were the same. I've purchased lots of different kinds, but THIS.... this one is different! First, the aroma is wonderful! And the flavor is far superior to any other peppercorns I've purchased.

one must, in one's life, have a few secret vices - one of mine is tellicherry pepper. freshly ground please. a comparison of tellicherry and generic pepper is brutal: tellicherry wins on all counts. the corns are plump. they look healthy, whereas the supermarket corns look exhausted before they have begun their work. a bag of these tired, dull corns smells somewhat of pepper, to be sure, but they don't have that "in your face" full, up-one's-nose aromas that last when one opens this particular one. and the aroma intensifies when tellicherry pepper is ground, becomes warm and stimulating. it says "something spicily multidimensional is on your plate". or in one's pfeffernuesse, german pepper-spiced christmas lebkuchen. that makes one ask - "how can i go back to generic pepper after this?" but please don't cry. instead, save a bit of your money for the long-lasting experience. and - can someone tell me why the trade in tellicherry pepper nearly disappeared? oh i recall now. the cost-cutters everywhere considered tellicherry too expensive and diners of regular-pepper accented dishes would not notice. well, it's back, and every bit as peppy. let us remind them that peppercorns once were currency. as valuable as old money (silver and gold content!). when did you last bite into a gold sovereign and get the same pleasure?
