I was worried to try this because I've heard there can be problems with freeze dried raw chicken. I decided to take a risk and order them. To my happy relief they looked very fresh and sanitary. They have almost no smell but if anything a slight, fresh chicken smell. I appreciate they have no added colors, chemicals or salt - just pure raw chicken. One of my cats loves them. The other likes them sometimes. (You can't please all cats.) The container keeps them fresh and helps prevent them from getting squished. If they do get squished then they turn into powder that won't work as a treat. All you can do at that point is mix it in with regular cat food. These are a good treat option!

I have been buying the freeze dried chicken at Trader Joe's for years and it has been discontinued for "safety" reasons. Maybe they will bring it back but I definitely liked this way better than the Trader Joe's version. I guess I should say my cats even loved it better!

My cat is obsessed with these chicken treats. The moment he hears the bag shake, he comes running. He always wants more and never seems to get enough. Value for money.

Well I got these for my CAT hoping I could maybe RE-HYDRATE some of the chicken chunks or figure out a creative way to convert it to a more liquid/broth thing Specifically trying to help his water intake (apparently, indoor cats are idiots who dehydrate themselves to the point of kidney infections & bladder stones *for fun*) Needless to say THAT didn't work at all- you CAN kinda soak to "RE-hydrate" the little cubes into a bland, mushy chicken chunk, but my cat just didn't for them no matter how I gave them- wet or dry. Not a total loss- the dogs seem to like them (then again they eat 💩), and I remember this WAS a good price point to try it out

My dog Prancer loves these freeze-dried chicken treats!!! She refuses most treats and is a real finicky eater so training was difficult. But right away she absolutely loved these, and I love that they are made with only 1 ingredient: grass fed chicken. They are perfect for training because she never gets tired of them and they are just the right size. Great product!! So glad I found these!

Very disappointed to learn these were made in China when I received the bag. Grass fed chicken makes bo sense, the FDA and USDA do not directly inspect facilities in China, the factories are “self-inspected” by the company. No where does it specify what lab testing is done in the US, but I suspect it’s only the required testing for the nutrient analysis. Most of this is on me for not checking more thoroughly, but i would never feed these to my furries.

Thought I had finally found the perfect treat. Great size for small to medium dogs. looks like a quality product. Only three stars because the best information I could find on where they are made is in various places including USA, MEXICO AND CHINA For that reason, only 3 stars. I will have to keep looking for a product made in USA.

my cat absolutely love these! i purchase a few brands depending what’s on offer but he really likes these and they don’t turn to dust in transit like some of the others we’ve tried!
