I have not used it for travel yet, but from what I have seen so far and trying it out before I catch my flight, this bag is great. I love how it has a hard top to protect the club heads as well as the adjustable rod. Also 3/4 of the bag is soft, so it makes it super easy to stow away as well as saves on weight. Great product!!!

Was not disappointed. Two trips though the airport and barely any scratches (I say that because I seen other ones destroyed in one trip and decided to go with this one). Heavy duty zippers this things built like a tank, will be good for the foreseeable future. Little twisty since the hard top just connects to material but not a huge issue when you strap it tight, definitely worth it to me for a clear mind vs soft shell case horror stories

10/10 recommend if you are flying, study and quality is durable

Full Disclosure: I received this product at no cost for evaluation through Amazon Vine program.This travel bag's best feature is the hard shell case at the top to protect the golf club heads. In addition, it comes with an expanding support rod, with a sort of hard plastic umbrella at the top to prevent the bag from being crushed from above.The zippers and straps are strong, with strips both inside and out. And it folds down into a 20" x 6" size you can stop to hold in its shape. Plus it includes a little three digit luggage lock to secure the zippers.There are a few deficiencies though with this bag.The first may or may not apply to you. It barely holds a medium sized hybrid bag with a full set of clubs. There is no way that it would hold one of those monster bags I see many golfers using. Of course is would hold anything smaller than that medium sized hybrid.While the top of the bag is well protected with the hard shell, there is absolutely no padding in below that shell. So hopefully your golf bag itself will protect your clubs, and you don't have anything hanging from the bag that needs protection.While the wheels are nice and solid, and there are some hard plastic pieces on the bottom to try to level it out, it does not stand by itself. I had to lean it against the wall to keep it vertical.It does have a small hand sized side pocket on the outside, but that is it.If this bag had a better bottom so it would stand up by itself, and if it had padding below the top, I would give it five stars.

There was not lock included with the travel case. Very disappointed. The on line description and the box started there was supposed a lock included.

I got this travel golf bag... bag after the first one left me a little nervous in terms of protecting the club heads. My old bag was a soft top. It still had the vertical riser/support inside but it always made me nervous to rely solely on the head covers to keep them from knocking around too much. This bag has a hard top that the rest of it fits into when it's not in use, about the size of a carry on.The bag is sufficient that you could probably use it as your checked bag in a pinch. It's built alot like regular luggage except that it's both hard and soft sided depending on the spot.The spot over your golf bag is soft, the spot above the golf bag where the clubs stick out has the hard shell.It's a little more expensive than the fully soft bags, but I imagine the extra money is worth it to most for the added layer of protection. I'd stuff packing material or something into the top for travel if I had an expensive set of clubs I was worried bout.The bag rolls and tags along ok with the available handles.
