I am a newly certified diver and wanted to get a new mask. This one seems to be a great quality mask at a good price. Seems well built, seals well and has a good and clear field of view. Allows easy nose equalization as well. As long as you properly prepare it before diving, it will not fog either. As any new mask, it will have a thin layer of silicone on the inside of the lens left over from the manufacturing process. This silicone interferes with defogging treatments, and until it’s removed, your mask will fog no matter how much defog you use. One option to remove it is with toothpaste, as described by the product and will work well. But there is another method to do this: fire. The silicone can quickly and effectively be burned off with a lighter. Here are a few steps: 1. Stand in a protected area, out of the wind 2. Hold the flame of the lighter carefully near the inside of the lens, but not directly on it, until the lenses are all black 3. The heat could make the mask fog, and you will be able to see the silicone burn away 4. Carefully move the flame around the lens to clear the remaining silicone. Be very careful around the silicone skirt of the mask. Also, be careful of your thumb as the lighter gets very hot when you maintain the flame for more than just a second or two 5. The lens will be hot. Set the mask aside and let it cool before wiping out the silicone residue 6. Make sure the mask is completely cool and rinse it with water to remove any lingering residue. Just like any glassware, remember that any sudden change from very hot to very cold can cause the glass to shatter! And, do not forget, before every dive, apply baby shampoo or a commercial defog to avoid fogging! Happy diving!

As a Public Safety & Recovery Diver, I use lots of different masks. Large volume, low volume, FFMs, etc. I also dive plenty recreationally. I decided to try this mask to carry as a low volume backup mask. I am not a fan of frameless masks, so something relatively small, but with a frame is what I want. This mask didn't disappoint. I am not a small guy (6'0" 240lbs) and this mask had a good fit on my face. It leaked a tiny amount at my mustache, but that is typical with all masks. Never leaked enough to need to clear though. Fogging was not an issue either. Just do your typical new mask procedures with toothpaste and whatever works for you for anti-fog (baby shampoo, commercial stuff or plain ol' spit). This would also be a perfect mask to vacation with. Pretty versatile. Dive, snorkel or just play in the pool with. For the price, you don't need to be overly concerned with keeping it all in perfect condition like I tend to do with my primary diving masks. Go ahead, just get it. It will do the job. Now if they only had an orange frame...

fits well and is easy to adjust, it does occasionally fog up. It also occasionally leaks but that is likely user error as I can go back and get it adjusted not too.

Picked up this mask as a backup since it has a low profile. I also like black silicone because it is far superior to clear. The black keeps the field of vision clear and doesn't have the reflections or refractions common with clear silicone. Build quality is as good as most masks on the market from many different brands. The glass is tempered and the silicone is molded well, with a wide skirt. The mask fits my face well and seals properly. Remember to clean the lens so the mask won't fog. I use the flame method. You can see the oil film retract after you apply heat for a few seconds. You have to burn off as much as you can towards the edges.

This product is pretty awesome. This dive mask rivals the name brand competitors that usually cost between 70$-200$. I was impressed with how well they sealed to my face (even with light facial hair). The boot is soft and extremely comfortable. I prepped these with soft scrub and have used them in the pool. I have not gone diving with them yet but I am sure that they will perform just as well at 80ft as they did at 9ft. I use commercial defog with them and they didn't fog up. I own 4 different mask made by big name brands. The strap is extremely comfortable and adjustable. These are the same quality if not better than the big name brands. You can not beat the value.
