My family and I enjoy eating canned sardines every once in a while, though not often. However, my oldest son has acne, so he won't eat the oil-based kind we buy in bulk at Costco. I used to buy the water-based kind at our local CVS, but when I found out it was cheaper to buy it on Amazon, I bought a lot of these. My oldest son loves it because it tastes good and doesn't make his acne worse. He even says it tastes even better than the oil-based one. If you are concerned about oxidation, this water-based ones are certainly better for your health than an oil-based. It's also helpful that it has a long shelf life despite being water-based. I would purchase it again.

I eat a can of fish every day. I have tried many brands and many types of fish. I usually like the tinned mackerel the best but these are very good. These are packed in water so they are not oily. (which doesn't bother me as i just drain them) these are mild and are not too salty. Tinned fish come in many different flavors and most as far as spices are pretty good but don't waste your money on specialty flavors.. just drain them and add the sauces you enjoy.. my favorites are lemon juice and pepper or sweet chili.. they are very versatile and adapt to any sauce you use.. Throw them on a cracker and eat for a great inexpensive lunch.. most cans are under $5 per whereas the hamburger I purchased yesterday was $8.. you do the math. LOL

I think they taste good. They seems to be slightly larger than other brands and they don't fall apart. I bought them because they were half the normal price. It's going to take me years to eat 12 cans.
