Tastes almost like giant chocolate covered blueberries
These really don't taste much like plums. I think it's all the chocolate and sugar. I just had some chocolate covered blueberries, and these taste like those, but huge. Even the texture and every is the same, but bigger.Mine go bad in 5 months, which probably means they aren't the freshest. They aren't hard or old tasting though. Well, they were kind of hard when I took them off my porch, but it was around freezing outside. They softened up once they were in a warm house. I'm not entirely sure they taste as fresh as they could, but they don't taste truly stale.Candied plums aren't generally something I see too often in the US. They are all expensive on Amazon and the only stores I've ever seen them in would be specialty foreign goods stores. I've seen them in the Italian grocery store where I sometimes shop, in the other European section, but that's about it. I guess this is about as good a deal as you're going to find unless you have Polish grocery store nearby.
