Awesome purchase considering the price. I half expected similar quality like the cartoon printed pens that I regularly see in general stationary shops but I was on the hunt for budget friendly whimsical purchases and this is totally living upto its claims. Firstly the body is functional (I still have to see how well it will hold up in my bag and travel so will probably try to update this after a while if I don't forget). The colour is pretty as its jet black and I wanted a sleek look. The pen is comfortable and smooth in writing with good ink flow at even high speeds. The image you see is of a rough hand made recycled notebook and the ink flow and nib quality is uber smooth. If you are a student who loves fountain pens but are afraid of fragile nibs then this can be your go to.

the flair ink that comes with it is very light, i recommend to buy another dark blue ink and use it with converter. The nib is great, its fine nib not as smooth as a round nib but finer than round nib.

Standard quality.. Good grip.. Visible ink level in the cartridge.. Elegant look.. Smooth writing..
