Delicious! If you actually know what to expect.
Good -- If you know what you're getting into!My partner, for example, grabbed one without even looking at the package and went about his day only to be startled late when he got to the 'twist' in the middle. Which to him tasted like just a lump of salt the first time. He didn't like that at all, but was willing to try again.I kinda go about it by pressing it against the roof of my mouth and sucking strongly enough to pull a little bit of the inside spice through the thinnest hole as it first forms. Giving a more slow release of spices to blend with the mango candy. My partner liked this method significantly better as well.Oh and to be clear, this is green mango, and not as sweet as the flavor Americans associate with mango. I couldn't find anywhere that specified WHAT spices are in this, btw. But to me it tastes like cumin, or simply curry powder. My partner thinks it tastes somewhat like garam masala. Either way, it's definitely a spice mix that pulls on traditional Indian flavors. So if that's not your cup of tea, this might not be for you.

not for me
VileThat's how my 13-year-old describes it. I didn't even know he knew that word. He's not wrong though. The candy has an unusual, sort of grassy flavor. By mango, I think they mean green mango; it's not wrong, and it's actually pretty good. The problem is the stuff inside. It's salty and like curry and anise. It's truly horrible. I get that I'm not the target audience, but don't expect this to be the next big candy craze. There will always be people who like stuff like this - and I will never be one of them. Quality is good and the packaging top notch.

Unique candy with mango flavor paired with spices
Pulse Candy Pouch Pack | Kachcha Aam Bulk Individually WrappedThis candy says that it's "mango, with tangy twist."It has a sweet taste, combined with the spice of what tastes like curry and cumin. At the beginning I was a little put off but by the time the first piece was gone, I liked it. This candy has a liquid spicy center. It is, in fact, tasty -- if you like Indian flavors.

Some Flavors Should Not Coexist
This bag arrived well sealed and was extremely difficult to tear open without a blade. Inside, the candy was individually wrapped. This candy has taken India by storm and is extremely popular there, though I had never tried it. I'm no stranger to Indian food, and I am well acquainted with some of the more exotic flavors that one can encounter. I popped one into my mouth and started to suck. I thought that the combination of mango and citrus was kind of weird. There was also some ghostly flavor that was off, that seemed to be a precursor of the horrible taste assault that was to come. All of the sudden I reached the center and the flavor contained inside hit me with full power. There was no flavor "twist." This is a "flavor knife in between the ribs." It comes hard and fast. The ingredient label reads "spices" but whatever spice it is, it tastes like hing or asafoetida. It literally tasted like cat urine smells in combination with the mango and citrus flavors. It was so gross I spit the candy out my car window in the parking lot and made faces. It was an abomination. I have no idea how this is such a popular candy in India. To me this is like the equivalent of Jelly Belly's Bamboozled Jelly Beans where you have barf and dead fish flavors. If it was a joke, like that, I would understand, but there's no joke here. People genuinely like this flavor. For people who like to assault their senses, this candy arrived in excellent shape. If you know what you're getting into, this is exactly what it is supposed to be. Yuck.

Fine at first, but the 'twist' isn't for me
Always game to try new things, I ordered this Pass Pass Pulse Mango Candy with ‘Tangy Twist.’ My wife likes mango, I like mango lassi, we just sliced up a mango to eat a couple days ago. Unfortunately, these little hard green candies don’t taste anything like any mangoes we have ever had. The sweet green candy part wasn’t too bad, but the longer we sucked on them, the more that ‘tangy twist’ flavor came through. We tried to figure out what flavor it was exactly, maybe some chili or curry or garam masala? The bag only says ‘SPICES’ so that was no help. Our kid gets a pass for spitting it out before he got anywhere near the center, and us grownups really tried to make it through, but the center just got more and more unpleasant until we also had to spit ours out. And then immediately had to find some other food to put in our mouths so we could leave the taste behind.I see these are manufactured in India and I am curious if it’s a specific flavor combo that’s common there. I just can’t tell if it’s supposed to be an acquired taste or whether these are just not tasty no matter what. I feel like I’m missing that context so I hesitate to give these one star. I’ll put it in the middle because outside was fine. But I do know that this flavor isn’t for me.

Try at your own risk, lol.
I have no idea how this candy gets such good results. I like weird stuff and eat squirrel. But this was by far the weirdest thing I've ever tasted. It reminded me of what Durian fruit would taste like. I have no idea how anyone in their right mind would like this. This has to be getting good reviews because it's so weird. But weird in a horribly bad way that made me vomit, lol. Don't get the flavor at all. But I actually might buy some just to mess with people.
