Survived a Scout Camp
I was intrigued by this tent... the price is fantastic, and the speed of putting it up and down is great. I literally put it up and dumped my bag in 2 minutes (perfect for the scout leader that needs to get back to shouting at the scouts!)Don't be in any doubt, this is a fair weather tent, as a single skin, you will get wet if you touch the sides, but it definitely keeps the rain off (no leaking detected) and the space inside is generous (I am 6ft1 and I was fine)Remembering how to put it down is fun, but you can work it out - its quick, and easy to do, and the bag size is generous. The ground sheet is thin so be conscious of where you pitch it, I had brought an additional ground sheet, but found I didn't need it.The double entrance is really useful, and I loved the overhang porch (hanging my camp mug there). It actually looks great, the yellow poles cross it with an awesome looking exoskeletonMine did not come with the tiny micro cover that is shown in the pictures for this product (I did bring a small piece of tarpaulin just in case, but found I didn't need it). The camber at the top does look sufficient to stop rain pooling.Features I liked...1. Speed2. double entrance3. the price4. being able to convert it into a micro shelter/awning.5. its actually quite well ventilatedNegative features1. single skin, means damp can transfer through, especially if you lean your sleeping bag against it2. those guy ropes feel a bit short3. the 8 pegs are thin, and would probably suffer on tougher groundIt's a lovely tent, perfect for a festival or casual camping, its a great emergency backup, and I intend on taking it with me in the caravan as well (its a perfect storage tent)

Poor quality
The only good thing to say about this is the speed in which it takes to put up and ease to put away hence the one star.We used this product at an event the day after receiving. Unfortunately it was raining and within 2 minutes water was leaking in through the seams near the door and base. We couldn't even use it to keep our things dry due to the amount of water coming in and forming puddles. I gave up trying to keep the water out. The metal zip also broke and it only came with 4 pegs, which means you can't peg down the guide ropes. After now reading similar reviews about leaking and quality, I wish I hadn't purchased. Currently in the process of returning to the supplier for a refund.

Easy to erect but not waterproof
It was easy to use, putting it up needed some strength but technique is good. Folding it up was easygoing and fast. It began raining in the morning and there were some puddles inside the tent and I saw some water trickling down the inside, the fly, is not long enough to keep the rain off.

Great when sunny. Not so good when it's raining.
First time using. Went to the lake District Friday was fine spitting rain. Saturday not so good medium showers and I'm watching a movie and dripping on the head. So I'll take mine only on sunny 😎 outings. Cheap good for festivals

Terrible Quality
Tent was terrible. Was tears in the seams at the top so when it rained the rain got into the tent and dropped on you. Also the zip was so weak and poorly made that the zip handle broke in half when zipping up the tent, after which the zip broke completely leaving everything in my tent getting soaking wet in the rain. Waste of money literally used it for 2 nights before it completely failed. Want a refund.

Not like the photo
This tent will probably last a single festival and that's about it. It doesn't look like the photos, no area above the door. The pegs that come with it are so flimsy they may as well be made of tin foil! Mine didn't come with any guide ropes either! It's small too, the only way on earth you'd fit 4 people in it, is if they slept directly onto of each other. It'll do for a single night or if you're kids want to play in the garden (as long as the weather is calm and sunny). If you want something that will last more than a weekend, spend a bit more money. The only true thing in the listing about this tent is the colour, it goes up easily (like an umbrella) and it's fairly light.

Great tent and brilliant mechanism for rapidly setting up and taking down
The tent is fabulous and the mechanism for controlling how it is put up and taken down in so ingenious. The only caution I have to give is that it does take a bit of time to understand the mechanism and practice how it works. The instructions are not great and I found that I needed to watch on YouTube. It is quite quick and straightforward so if you find yourself doing a lot of steps then you're not doing it correctly. The tent itself is great. Fully enclosed with a ground sheet and vents in the upper part to allow air circulation. It is waterproof and we've used it in heavy rain. I use it mainly for the beach and we do swim in all weathers using wetsuits.
