This kit was so simple to use. It is idiot proof!

The Pettest Advocate Meter is excellent , while not the cheapest , it’s by far the best, I use it with the Genteel Lancet on my little Norfolk Terrier.

Good product that gives a accurate read for my diabetic dog.

I had anxiety first using this test kit. Now, i am a pro. Read the booklet well first and its there for absorbing. Also, a phone number if you need clarification. My Vet has not at once questioned my readings. Happy with this purchase and hope you will try it as well.

ADVOCATE, "PetTest" Blood Glucose Monitoring System, is stated for Dogs and Cats, The manual is in both English and Spanish. The manual does have pictures of where you take your samples for testing on dogs, but does not have pictures of where to use the lancet to prick to draw blood for cats. I did contact the Customer Service number1-866-373-2824 and express that no information in the manual has this information. I was told that the ear is the only place to draw blood. To Sum it up after 4 attempt's with the Green safety lancet and multiple (E-5) messages of insufficient blood, I gave up. I have an appointment with the Vet next week.

works good. not the easiest to use but

I had bought several other glucose monitors that I could not use on my cat because they required too much blood for the test and she would fight me trying to do it. This monitor uses very little blood to get a reading so no more repeat sticks to my kitty while trying to get enough!

Everything I read said it takes lots of practice to correctly use these glucometers but this was so easy! Granted, we had two people - one to use the planchette and the other to get the blood sample. But it was super easy and we were able to do a blood glucose curve for my cat the second day we used it. Instructions were easy and the gluconeter itself is very simple.
