I use both for wheel and hand building for a summer craft camp. Kids had a fun time and so did I. I’ve purchased it twice. One batch was only slightly drier than the last but both were easier to work with. Easy to add moisture. I don’t have a kiln so I needed an air dry clay. Really works great on the wheel (which was my main concern). Does dry hard- which is exactly what you want. Highly recommend- works as advertised. Good value for the amount you get.

The air dry clay is easy and fun and kids can make various shapes with it. My kids ages 4-12 enjoyed making creative designs with the clay. They played with it independently for a over an hour as they rolled it into alphabet shapes forming their names and made rainbows and characters. It gets hard overnight and then you can paint too!

Very pleased with quality of clay and air dries overnight. Handles paint nicely. We used child’s spinning wheel & the clay even with extra moisture dried over night! Very easy to manipulate & scalp into airplane/duck & fancy bowl. Soap & water cleaned ourselves n work bench.

We were new to the world of using clay for making pottery -- the kit we had been given was old and the clay was hard and dry, so we went looking around and found this deal. Kiddo went and made his first bowl the day after getting this and I can say it has been a fun learning experience for us both! The clay is perfectly malleable, it doesn't stick to you, and he was able to manipulate it easily on his learning pottery wheel. The bowl has been done for about a month now and we've not noticed any cracks forming either, which was a small concern I had for longevity of keeping his creative pieces!

One of the 3 bricks came hard and isn't salvageable :( other than that feels like good clay

Works great! Our 9 year old has a pottery wheel and we bought this for him to make things. It works great on the wheel, dries smooth without cracking, and can be painted beautifully. Great value!
