Ok, so this is my first professional blow dryer and I have to say it's amazing! I wanted something that I could control the temps better for my hair to protect it more so I went for a professional style one and it has paid off. My hair was dry in mess then 5 min. My hair is down the middle of my back so it's not short by any means. It has multiple different settings for hot and cool. Also comes with a thick nice cord that even has this rubber piece attached for when u want to wrap the cord it's really nice and convenient. By far my favorite blowdryer very happy with my purchase. I got it on sale so for the money it's well worth it. It comes with 2 different attachments which are magnetized for easy out on. Which is neat. It's more compact so better for travel and it seems very durable made.

There are some significant advantages over a traditional, basic hair dryer, and if you're using something like this each day, I think it's worth looking at making a change. The biggest improvements are the more granular air flow controls (slightly, my old unit had high and low, this has low, medium, and high), as well as four heat settings (cool, low, medium, high). Adding one heat setting might not sound like a lot, but between that and one more airflow setting, it really helps. When we blow dry our 8 year old son's hair, the noise was a big issue in the past and he didn't really tolerate it long enough to dry his hair. With this new style, the unit is significantly quieter, and we can run it on a medium heat with a low airflow setting and it's a dull hum that works effectively without being overly loud and disruptive. The design where the suction of air comes in through the handle is a big improvement too, if you have longer hair, there's no longer any danger of sucking it in through the back of the dryer and burning it. The holes in the handle to allow air in are quite fine, so the danger of sucking hair in there is very low.The cord is 66 inches long or so, which is better than my old cheapy, and the weight is hugely improved also- this thing is about half the weight of my old one, making it a lot easier to hold for a longer time when drying. The magnetic tip attachments work great, and the magnet is strong enough to hold the attachment on through use without falling off or anything like that, and both attachments are pretty simple, one is a diffuser, the other is a flat concentrator to allow you to work in a smaller area when styling. Overall, this is an easy recommendation for someone who uses it 3+ times a week.
