if you want to start your journey in surgery this is one of the good books to start with. I bought this book as a junior doctor and I love this book. the information is detailed enough for me to get everything I need to know as a junior surgeon. there are a lot of real-life pictures that provide a nice mental image as a reference visualization of what to expect to see in real patients. there are small boxes on almost every page that summarize important key points to memorize. I live in the Middle East so I didn't understand the SU classification, but that didn't bother me. Now to the downsides. Although there is many of information on the techniques and picture supplements don't expect a step-by-step explanation of the surgical techniques, you will see direct instructions on what to do in the mentioned situation. So there will be information about what is the approach but not on what to exactly do nor the specific dosage of any of the drugs to use in many situations. if you want you will need a specialized book for example Cleft Palate Palatoplasty to understand the details of the approach, but you will understand when to operate and what are the possible issues you might face. Also, the paper quality needs some improvement, the papers are very thin. overall, I think this is an amazing book to have if you are in your first years as a surgeon, definitely recommend it.

The book was delivered without damage. The seller also provided with new and sealed books, (some of the sellers dispatch books that are damaged) The content is precise and it's a good book for medical students.

Very informative book.....but to be used with Bailey n love

Very useful for quick revisions and exam preparation . Needs improvement in grammar and spellings.

...profusely illustrated with colour photographs of actual surgery cases makes it a very different book (INR1500), and the subject easy. This edition can safely obviate the purchase of Bailey & Love (INR4000, later 2700). A paperback with reasonably good quality pages, proper binding, considerably bigger font (but a strange font that needs a change, the reason for its being a bigger volume)..
