Honestly, it was so easy to put it together! I did it by myself with no issues. Instructions are easy to follow, every part is labeled and even the screws are separated by their size and labeled! So much easier than anything ikea man 😂 feels sturdy

This island arrived a day early and was well packaged. All of the large parts were numbered and the hardware was separated into different lettered sections of it's packaging, making it really easy to know what you need to grab next. 2 allen-head "L" wrenches were included (both of which are needed for 1 of the installation steps). I required no other tools. The directions and illustrations were clear and easy to follow. I built it alone and it took about 90 minutes from opening the package to tightening the last bolt.Once put together, it's solid. The shiny laminate that covers the top piece of wood is aesthetically pleasing and is very easy to clean. The "S" hooks are holding my set of stainless pans just fine with no tweaking of the shelf to be seen, though if I were to add my cast iron pan, I'd put it on the other side to balance it out.If I had a couple of improvement suggestions, one would be to raise the height of the top shelf and eliminate the top bar altogether. This would raise the height whatever is hanging on the hooks and get them further away from the workspace. Currently, anything that's hanging is going to be at least a little in the way of either the work area or the seating area, and the bar is in the way of whatever you put on the shelf. This is mostly a minor inconvenience and probably an engineering decision for safety.The second suggestion concerns the basket. It doesn't have any stoppers to keep it from coming all the way out, and the couple of times I've pulled it out, I've forgotten and lost everything onto the floor. I wouldn't suggest putting anything in there that is breakable or valuable.Overall, I'm really pleased and impressed with the quality of this island, and honestly, it's a steal for $170. I'm a single guy and it not only holds almost everything i need in my kitchen, but as soon as I get a couple barstools, it will eliminate the need for a kitchen table due to the other side being a bartop.

Must be good product as purchased as a gift and gifted baker says it has given her more counter space which was very needed

I actually use this in my garage for a work space. It’s the perfect height for me standing next to the tabletop & the outlets make it super easy to use my sewing machine, glue gun, laptop- literally anything to get crafty. The table top is a good thickness & the top rack make it really easy to access smaller tools that can hang on hooks. This is an awesome piece.
