Very good. Bought to seal a pipe. Did the trick and has been used for several other internal and external job. Will buy some more when this tube is finished.

I will be honest. I haven’t got a clue what I am doing when it comes to DIY. But DIY is necessary when it’s nigh on impossible to get someone to come and fix the little things. And big things. We had a crack in the shower base of one of the en suites. Apparently this is a common problem with shower bases. Which beggars the question why on Earth are shower bases being produced that regularly split or crack when used? It’s not like we are cramming elephants into the shower cubicle. Not performing river dance routines in there with heavy feet. Anyway. Mustn’t grumble. I first became aware of the issue when I noticed water seepage into the ceiling underneath the shower cubicle. I did my research, Amazon is great for that in terms of the reviews. I learned a lot. Like... when your shower base is cracked the only realistic thing to do is replace it. In lieu of funds and resources to do that I opted to buy this product, based on reviews here. When I received the product (swiftly, Prime is ace)... I then realised I needed a gadget to load the product into... a gun type thingy. I ordered one of those and it came swiftly. Process was straightforward... cut end off tube of silicone off (I used a hacksaw), put in special apparatus gun thingy, squeeze into crack in shower. I did a few layers, letting them dry in between. Haven’t a clue if that is what we are supposed to do. It dried over about 24 hours. No further leakage into ceiling below. Shower room does occasionally smell a bit damp again tho... but let’s face it, up and down the country people have installed en suite showers in such a way as to create a little damp box in the corner of the room. It’s hardly an unusual problem. Botch Nation. Only used a small amount of the tube and wondering if the whole thing will dry up in the tube and be inoperable. Either way I feel like I have done something useful today. Product was effective and stuck well. Good adhesion. Any ideas what I can use the rest of the tube for gratefully received.

I recently discovered that when I had my bathroom redone the workmen has broken my toilets cistern. Instead of telling me this and getting it replaced they did a bodge job to hide the issue and it's now caused water damage. Being unable to afford replacing the cistern I opted to try using this product in the hope of sealing the breach. I emptied the tank and applied the glue, waited two days for it to cure and then applied another bigger coating which also had two days to cure. I am pleased to announce that the toilet no longer leaks and the glue is doing a bang up job.

Apparently it really does! Husband & I are very happy with it. Has stuck paving slabs down used as steps - no more tipping or moving around.

This is only value for money if you buy it fresh, it does not keep [even unopened]. The use by date is not just for show. This product is also not very easy or, at times, is impossible to use if the temperature is low. Heating the tubes in boiling water before use in Autumn and Spring helps, Winter is a case of only if you really must. If you can fit your job around the product limitations then this does not seem to have a quality competitor, if you can't, then leave the job until you can or find a different solution.
