I searched for a lot of Zaatar online but everywhere they have outrageous price. Finally I came across Spicy World Zaatar and was skeptic looking at the price because no one has any price anywhere near to them. However, I though of giving them a chance and at this price point I thought it can go either way. But to my surprise everything about this product is exactly as they claimed. Now I top everything with Zaatar, such as eggs, tomatoes, cream cheese and bagel, toast, salad and muffins etc. The possibilities are endless. Plus 7 Ounce is a lot to last you for a year if you use like me, which is sprinkle on everything. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

This is the same spice you’ll find in more expensive packaging. We eat it on peta bread, brushed with olive oil, and toasted under the broiler. Keep an eye on it as it will burn before you know it.

If you want to use some spices that will make company wonder what in the world you did to spice up the flavor of chicken, beef, even vegetables, try this! It's not hot spicy at all, but it gives a great deep flavor without canceling out the flavor of the dish itself. This company gives you a lot more of the spice mixture than the other companies I've seen listed, but looks like Amazon is out of the product right now, which is very sad.

When we were in Israel and Palestine, we put za'atar on just about anything. It was robust, sweet, pungent, and aromatic. This product is fine but it does not taste nearly as flavorful as the packaged za'atar in Palestine/Israel. it is a little more bitter than what I've had before. It's still pretty good but not great. I think I'm going to try some other brands in the future to see if I can get a better match to the ones I had in the Holy Land.
