excellent to stir small tins of paint but as these are just under 6 inches long ( and 3/4 inch wide) they wouldn't be much good with large tins I am guessing. My tins were 2.5 litres (for which they were just about ok, although it was a new tin so didn't need much stirring) and 750 ml (for which they were perfect). Easy to clean afterwards to use again too.
