Only disliked the clickless aperture ring, and the slip-on lens cap. The protruding front element also precludes use of screw on filters.The depth of field marking on the lens barrel makes zonal manual focussing easy, and auto focus operation is not greatly missed.Overall picture quality very good, flare vignetting spherical aberations, all acceptable at the price, and used within these limitations in mind, results are extremely pleasing!

These days I run my hobby on a budget at the lower end and this lens fits the criteria. Been out in the field once with it on my Fuji X and happy with the results. I am retired now but if I was asked to shoot a wedding I would have no problem in adding this lens to the kit bag.

Image sharp across the frame at F8 - very poor edges at F2.8, not much distortion and very good build quality. As it's only 12mm almost everything is in focus at F4 or smaller

Appears to be well made, not unduly heavy. But picture quality is poor, especially at the edges, even for the price. Returned same day as received.

Solid product like the other 4 lenses that I have bought from 7 Artisans. The low price allows you to try new prime lenses for then go for pro.i love them.

It took amazing wide angle photographs with no distortion edge to edge

Build quality and image quality are superb only used it on a night shoots of yet but really impressed

7artisans provide inexpensive manual lenses. I use the Fuji system and coupled with the focus peaking function in the camera, I find these lenses great. I'm just a hobbyist and don't know a lot of the technicalities but I am very happy.
