Quorn Vegan Pieces, 280g (Frozen)

One of my favourite Vegan products. I love the ingredients too, no oil, mostly mushrooms (mycoprotein) which are really good for you. This does mean if youre not used to high fibre foods, they might be a bit hard on your stomach! Thankfully as a long time Vegan thats a non issue for me. They're also much lower in calories than other options. Boiling them in stews makes them super soft and lovely, air fried they get crispy, you can cook them in so many ways. I've steamed them in my own bao buns before too!

I love the quorn pieces (non vegan ones) and these taste excatly the same with the added benefit of being vegan. Its a great alternative to chicken, the texture is a lot softer than chicken, but they taste really good and are the best chicken substitute I've found. It's high in healthy protein and fibre with a complete amino acid profile. Doesn't really taste of anything on its own, but that's what herbs and spices are for, quorn absorbs flavours really well. Great for meat eaters looking for meat alternatives and vegans alike.

Versatile fake chicken pieces that can be enjoyed in many ways. Season to taste.

Bit mushy so maybe fry first before adding to a pasta dish....Absorbs flavours well but not one of the better ones I've tried.

I prefer this over other meat free brands but I still prefer the vegetarian version of this over the vegan one. The vegan one has a diddwrent texture (not as chewable).

Soft squishy texture, tastes like bland tuna. Nothing like a chicken substitute.
