All of Vic's books are really good. I love that you get a decent illustration, and very useful info for any angler. People have complained that his section on food value is too high on positives. I think you have to take this as someone who likes fish. If you do, MOST fish are pretty tasty with a few exceptions. I have eaten many of the fish he has in the Atlantic edition and he seems pretty dead on to me. His discussion of tactics and location for the fishing is also very helpful. I highly recommend his works to anyone who will fish along any US coast.

I'm happy with what I received other than there is two stickers on the cover and it happens to be a collectable edition I purchased.

Why only 3 stars? It's a nice book and I'm happy to have it but.... The title says 'Sport Fish of the Pacific'. That's what I expected to get but it actually is 'Sport Fish of the Pacific Coast of America, including Hawaii'

A great book for anglers who want to know what they are catching and what they could catch. Has all the primary sport fish in one handy book. I use it all the time.

I bought this book for my dad. It has many pictures which are great for fishing on the go. It's a good reference to read whenever you run into a strange looking fish here in Ventura County (Pt. Hueneme, Oxnard, and Pt. Mugu Naval Base)

I have 3 books from the same author and all of them are well edited. The book is well organized. There is complete information on each fish like color photo, world record, food value, baits used, game qualities, and the habitat where they are found.As far as I know the information is accurate. This is a great book.

I got it for my son and he was very happy with if. He said he needed photos to identify the fish and this book completed the rest of the info he needed. The seller got to me very quickly and it was all the seller said it would be. Great job.
