I bought 15 of these as work presents for coworkers and they all came and everyone is thrilled to be able to wear their work badges on the new Pitt Lanyards.

This review is for the RICO INDUSTRIES NCAA Ribbon Lanyard (Michigan State Spartans). I received a free taxable sample of this lanyard to review in my search for a way to show my school pride.The lanyard arrived tied with a rubber band and in a clear polybag. There are two sections to this lanyard: the main ribbon lanyard section that typically goes around the neck and a detachable ribbon plus keyring section. The main lanyard portion weights 17 grams and consists of two 18 1/4" long x 1" wide lengths of high-quality ribbon. One end of each ribbon terminates in a loop wrapped around one end of a plastic push-in fastener. The other ends of the ribbons are sewn together and form a loop around one end of a 2 1/2" long snap buckle. The other end of the snap buckle joins to the keyring section which weights 13 grams and consists of a 2 5/8" long x 1" wide ribbon looped through a 1 1/8" diameter keyring. A 1 1/2" metal lanyard clasp is also included as part of the keyring portion. The snap buckle feels fairly secure and, although I had concerns about the plastic push-in fastener, the lanyard hasn't inadvertently detached yet.Couple of notes about the lanyard: there is no adjustment mechanism for the length unless you manually knot or tie the lanyard up - the ribbons are a fixed length and end in closed loops. Join the lanyard ribbons so that the hemmed ends are on the same side of the push-in fastener so that the keyring section will lay flat against your body.The main visuals of the lanyard are the "Michigan State", "MSU", and Spartan helmet imagery printed onto the lengths of ribbon - the only icon that's missing is the "Block S". The graphics are crisply rendered, and the colors are rich enough for the Spartan pride to be recognizable and appreciated at a reasonable distance. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but "Michigan State" is nicely centered on the front of the keyring section. Beyond the school pride look, I like the convenience of the snap release in the front, so I don't have to remove individual keys or items from the keyring. The lanyard clasp has also been quite convenient to quickly clip on items such as ID cards or temporary one-offs.All in all, the RICO INDUSTRIES NCAA lanyard is nicely constructed with a convenient detachable keyring section. I recommend this as a good option for showing your school pride. Go Green!
