Kept my phone dry during while it was raining during my sons flag football game.

I have used this umbrella during the sunny days and rainy days for my chameleon camera, that's awesome

Bought this to go with my XbotGo Chameleon as trying to record a game on a sunny day can cause the phone to overheat. This keeps the gimbal and phone out of the sun to help prevent overheating. It easily clamps onto the tripod and can adjust higher or lower to accommodate different size phones. I haven't tried it in rain yet through.

I don’t use it much but when it starts to unexpectantly rain or mist or the sun is too bright, it is a great product!

Works well to cover sun and rain. Also, shout out to the chameleon device as well as customer service! They are great with support and customer care.

I would recommend this but be advised. a) The Dual Sided Clamp may not fit your Tripod. Be sure the diameter of the rod of your tripod is not to large for the dual sided clamp. The Clamp could be designed better, as well as offer some flexibility for adjustments at different angles. b) Be careful when collapsing the umbrella itself. I severally pinched my fingers the 1st time I did it. I realized that I needed to essentially take it out of its holder, and holding the Black Sliding Grip to pull down, I hit the post into a rock to get it to collapse. This could be better designed.

This works great as a sun shade and while I haven’t used it in rain, I’m sure it will keep most of the direct rain off if attached at the right height.

Good quality umbrella really solid just a little on the small side which helps when its really windy, but maybe could be a touch bigger.

L'ombrello è ben fatto! Davvero. Ovviamente è piccolino ma il telefono e XbotGO vengono protetti bene dal sole estivo o da una pioggia tranquilla. Se piove a vento, spegnete tutto e scappate! ahahah Unica cosa, l'aggancio che ha, non è andato bene per il mio treppiede (un pochino più spesso) ed ho dovuto "inventare" un braccetto aggiuntivo fissato con fascette, per bloccare il reggi ombrello.
