Necessary Wellness Program !
My story may be a tad different than most. I'm recovering from a bilateral masectomy; it's crucial that I maintain an activity level....as someone who has managed health clubs, been a certified trainer/taught classes (aerobics, dance therapy, tai chi chuan, qi gong +) for many years .....then found myself diagnosed w breast cancer (2002) - recovered extremely well.....and to have to revisit this dreadful situation again some 22+ years later; Breast Cancer 2.0, eh......so I've opted for many lifestyle changes once again.....after caring for and losing the last of my family members and realizing my motivation and metabolism sucks now....I've chosen this book...along w other practices to find myself again....I can't do a lot yet (using arms in many of the exercises is still painful - the pecs cause incision pulling and general 'weirdness' ! Haha - but are tantamount to the overall workout and I'm improving every day/week, so am sure I'll get there - esp since the absolute love of my life is there; I'll be moving overseas to start a new chapter and we're both ecstatic - finding eachother in our 60s !!!....sooooo....thank you for one of the most thorough and concise 'remedies' for extending, maintaining & promoting wellness I've ever run across ! And the bonuses are an exciting reward ! Thanks again, Alex ! Be well.

Practical, clear instructions
Practical and clear instructions for all the yoga exercises are included in this easy to use book. The large print makes it easy to see while doing the exercises until you learn them all. Morning and evening routines and the 28 day challenge are also very well written. I would recommend this to anyone wishing to start a routine they can sustain.

Glad I got it!
Easy to understand the directions and not too stressful to do. My time to complete a session is about 15 minutes if done with concentration on the moves. I had a time break of 2 weeks and started from the beginning and it was easiesr the second time around

A great guide to get moving
Excellent guide for beginners to more advanced. I’m of the age that start slow is best to avoid injuries. Expect a learning curve and take your time. It does get more rewarding as you lose the weight and feel more confident in pushing yourself a little more. I’m tall and have found starting on a taller chair has helped with some of the poses. Don’t give up, it takes time to develop a good habit. This book is a great tool to do just that.

If you’re looking for an easy to follow and informative guide on chair yoga exercises for toning and weight loss then this book is for you. As a qualified personal trainer myself, I love that the exercises and explanations are very easy to follow and perform, so even a novice can get started straight away. There are LOTS of exercises as well. Everything you need is covered. The meditation chapter is particularly useful as most people overlook the power of the mind for losing weight and toning. I give this book a definite 5 stars.
