This Japanese-style (Akari, Noguchi, Wabi-Sabi) rice paper and wood floor light is made with high-quality materials and is easy to assemble. The overall look is awesome, with the exception of the cord. I wish that there was something to do to hide the cord. This is an accent light or a statement piece, not meant to be the main light source in a room. Although this light is very light, the wide tripod legs keep it steady and unlikely to tip over. I needed to replace a lamp in my office and I always liked this Noguchi style and thought it would look great in my space. A few observations:* The design looks like the website images and you can actually decide how “full” you want to stretch the paper design* The included assembly instructions were fairly easy to follow and I was able to assemble the light in about 10 minutes (and I am not handy at these kinds of things)* The included light produces a nice warm light but it is not very bright. As the light cannot be adjusted, this is probably best a secondary light or in a space where you don’t need focused light* I took off 1 star as the internal packaging had a lot of packing styrofoam which kind of takes away from the elegant paper and wood aesthetic (for the price of this lamp, you would think they could have included recycled paper or some other foam replacement.)* Note: the manufacturer says they are a US company but the product is manufactured in China. (Maybe they are an import company?) I only note this as it was confusing on the description.Overall, the lamp has a very nice design, produces a warm and even light, and is fairly easy to assemble.

This is really everything I hoped it would be in then some. This looks absolutely beautiful in our fenced-in patio. It is all boho themed and this straight up looks like a lantern. The glow from this is absolutely beautiful at night time and it's surprisingly bright for what it is. This came with all the correct pieces and parts and nothing was damaged. The directions for putting it together were clear and easy to understand so my husband and me were able to get this fully assembled in literally no time. This match is up perfectly with the ad even the measurements match up so this fit perfectly in the spot I had for it. This definitely functions as intended and once you get everything hooked up and good to go you simply plug it in and voila it's working. This is definitely very durable and it doesn't feel like it would easily fall over. I have not had any issues with this whatsoever so far and so far I'm having a great experience with it! Solid 10 out of 10 for sure and a great quality product in my opinion!

This artesian Japanese floor lamp with rice paper shade arrived in new condition and adequately protected using custom molded polystyrene within a generic looking brandon box. The instructions our brief; only a single side of a single page with color pictures and well worded instructions. Assembly is easy. Once together the light sits on its tripod with its electrical cord hanging down. So, I secured electrical cord on one of the legs in a less-than-seen area. There is one other issue that I found, though of no fault of the manufacturer, is it does not stand up well to the tale of a large dog. It is easily moved an knocked over. But that isn't a design issue. Overall, the light looks elegant and offers a pleasant glow. I recommend.

I am super pleased with my new lamp. I love the mid century vibe it creates in my office area. The construction is practical and it was cake to assemble. The warm 360 degree glow is just really nice. The bulb it comes with is a 40 watt equivalent LED. I suppose you could put a higher output bulb in it if you wanted to but this is strictly an accent light. You wouldn’t want to try and read by it or anything. Since it has tripod legs it is very stable. The light operates via foot switch so you don’t have to fiddle around sticking you hand up in the lantern.

This was very easy to put together. And it looks fantastic, just like the pictures. Really diffuses the light for reading, adds a lot of warmth to the room.

Love this style so much. It is sturdy and functional. I will say though the cord kind of bothers me because it is very visible BUT that is only because I have a problem. The lamp is still so stunning!
