With Solar you know exactly what your buying, having tried other forms of Psyllium I have always returned back to this product, It never gives me the side effect of others that use flavors and additives { even though they are ment for gut health } keep it simple and it works as it should, I split the 1000mg a day with one tablet morning and the other at night { both taken with a large glass of water ) the difference it has made to my troubles have been life changing { always check with your pharmacy/Dr if you are taking other meds } with a regular " function " I can get along with my day without worrying about needing the loo all the time.

The item was as described and was promptly dispatched. I have a very sluggish colon and my GP prescribed Fybogel, which worked quite well. But I stopped using it as I did not feel comfortable consuming artificial sweeteners twice a day, every day. That's why I switched to Solgar, as it doesn't contain any artificial additives. However, I did not find it to be very effective. I tried the recommended dose of two capsules per day and that had no effect at all. I doubled the dose, taking two in the morning and two in the evening and there was only a very slight improvement. I did not want to exceed that dose, so I stopped using it and purchased plain, psyllium husk powder, which works well, if I take enough of it.

Came sealed and well packaged. Still in the early days of using it. Just ensure you take enough water with it
