Mat Grips | 28x7cm | Pack of 4

I tried these fitted to the underside of a rug over a carpet, and they made very little difference i.e. the rug still moved, moving almost as much as before application of these "grips". The self-adhesive strips did not stick well on the underside of my rug and would probably detach after a while. In my case, the underlying carpet was quite thick and soft and I think this is why these "grips" didn't grip. I think these "grips" might work (slightly) better on a thinner carpet. I think I wasted my money in this instance.

Effective. Rug no longer creeps across the carpet despite heavy “traffic”

It’s a good item but unfortunately didn’t work on our carpet as the mats still move.

Had these for a while now.They do not work at all and are big and clumsy.The front door mat still creeps all over the place.

Very easy to fit and you must press really hard down into the carpet. I'm not sure why so many reviews are saying they're no good but this is the second set I have bought, which I obviously wouldn't have done if they didn't work? My rug is hessian backed so whether that makes a difference, I don't know. They don't grip as in permanently dig into the carpet but when you walk on it the grips won't slide over the carpet as the spikey bits press into the pile of the carpet. I have a very big rug so bought 2 sets

Don’t waste your money, these so called carpet grips do not grip anything
