Big heavy duty unit - I'm using to power my PC and some audio equipment that are quite expensive..
Ordered via vine. It's a big heavy and well constructed unit, no surprise there, the USB slots I don't absolutely need and it's not many but I'm fine with that, its got a nice big LED display although chances are you'll be hiding this. This BPC Energy brand clearly know what they're doing and usually this will be for commercial applications, or really any important home/office applications. The Source and Battery 8 Outlets I've used to power not just my PC equipment, which is not a server. But also some of my very expensive audio and TV that were all previously plugged in on a regular set of 2x 8 Gang towers. But specifically for the hardware that could potentially be damaged during a surge, as they're kept on all the time. Even though I don't get regular surges, if I do I'll notice it immediately providing i'm present and be able to take some very basic action, shut down measures.10 Mins it claims is the run time, which doesn't sound like a lot but that depends on the rating of the source/outlets as its designed to power some high power stuff. It's by no means compact or light, but I wasn't expecting as such, and none of these units will be. It's probably low-mid range unit, compared to some real expensive alternatives and options, but its sits nearly under my studio area pretty neatly, and I use all the outlets - I've even used one USB to power and external fan to cool my Mini-PC, since it;s there already. But it certainly is of high quality with the logo and branding on it, these are going to be out of sight anyway but it looks good anyway. It's built like a tank and I've done simply a demo to test that it works manually, which it does.At the very least it gives some peace of mind, as a sudden surge could really could me a lot of money. I haven't shopped for and don't know exactly how this compared to other units of similar spec and price point so I'm just going to give this 4/5 stars as I'm perfectly happy with it!

Effective and works well, havent used it with NUT yet but planning on getting round to it
(For starters I just spun up an LXC to run the Viewpower softare in Linux. Had to pass thorugh the USB from Proxmox to the container but this is a bit problematic as if you ever reboot proxmox the USB deivce ID of the UPS Cypress controller changes and you have to re-passthrough the correct USB ID. So will get round to trying NUT on Proxmox to solve that. but it does function and report correctly)I have only tested in so far as I turned the switch off at the mains where the UPS is connected and can confirm that this does switch over to battery wihtout any issue and continue to power the connected machines giving them ample time to finish up ongoing task and shutdown.I have not tried to see how much emergency runtime I can get out of the battery as that is not what its for and its going to be different for each user depending on what load they are running through the UPS.Its a well built compact unit that I messily just chucked into a shelf on my 12U rack. Not the best place for it as the shelf does not leave enough space for the switch power brick to be plugged in. But will do for now. This is my first UPS and I am very pleased with it as a started unit at a realtviely affordable price where I can learn the ins an outs of my needs to determien if I need somethign with more capbiltiy later down teh roadThe unit doies have an easly repalceable batery for when the time comes and the battery is easily sourced.

Plug and Play
Well built unit, easy to install. Battery life on my setup gives at least 20 minutes to manually shutdown, but software does this for you.Good value for the peace of mind that you won't have to rebuild your system after a power outage.Plenty of sockets to cover a multitude of devices. Digital readout with touchscreen display.Quite a heavy unit but that's because of its inbuilt sealed battery pack.

A good idea for your home, very good quality and it works well.
I do not know how to test the surge protection, but given how good the rest of this is I trust that it works.I do not give 5 stars out very often, this deserves it.In real life it looks better than the advert, everything is solid and good quality, the switch feels robust and the tolerances on the ports and plugs is good. I have a good idea how it works but read the instructions and the company website to make sure, then last night plugged my PC, screens ETC into it. I like the fact that I can place speakers, my radio ETC in none UPS sockets to get the maximum time on the most important equipment. As all our setups are different I will let you do your own calculations to see how much time you get from the battery. The UPS kicked in straight away and lasted about as long as I thought it would. I kept an eye on the LED which seemed accurate.I will be using this in fact I intend to buy another one for my router. I know about UPS systems from work, I suspect many folk do not know that you can get affordable ones for your home. When you think about it does it not seem like a great thing to have?
