Using this shower chair brought a new level of comfort and safety to bathing. The U-shaped seat design provides privacy while offering great support, especially for individuals with limited mobility. Adjusting the height is straightforward, and the overall build feels very sturdy, even with regular use. The non-slip legs are effective, ensuring the chair stays firmly in place, which has added peace of mind during use. Assembly was tool-free, which made the setup process quick and hassle-free.

A great shower chair similar to those you see in hospital wet rooms with some excellent features. Please note these are technically suitable for bath-tubs but due to the narrow width of most UK bathtubs, these are more designed for shower wet rooms, or walk-in showers with a strong base that can support concentrated weight potentially of two people if the individual needs assistance.Firstly, the chair came in a very compact package and was much lighter than I expected. It was of course disassembled. Assembly is fairly easy with all parts labelled with stickers. The entire chair felt very strong and well manufactured. Important for this type of product.The chair in use is sturdy and stable. The gap in the middle is very useful for cleaning the person's underside with the shower hose without them having to get off the chair. With drainage holes making it easy for the water to drain.Cleaning is also very easy, with a quick spray and wipe generally, followed by an intensive clean every few months. However there really is minimum maintenance. Of course there are areas that may rust over time, given the adjustable feet and hollow tubing may collect moisture however not much you can do about that. All the visible areas are easy to access and clean thankfully.

This came with all parts plus a spare screw and a hex key with a handle, which is easier to use than the common L shaped variety. Having just been using some very clear assembly instructions for a product, these instructions at first glance looked to be confusing in comparison, however once started they turned out to be fine. Some parts where a mistake could be made had numbered sticky labels to avoid misassembly, and in total it took only a few minutes to complete the job.Inserting the arm rests was slightly tricky as the fit was very tight. The soft rubbery foam type material on the arms had some compression indentations that look like they may be permanent, which is a shame but wouldn't impair use.The height adjustment is easy and it feels totally stable. The seat is comfortable. The backrest is easy to detach, however to remove the arms, I would need to hold the seat down and use my rubber mallet to give the arms a wack while gradually encouraging the arms to move and pressing the spring loaded buttons that keep parts in place. As the arms are optional, it might accommodate someone with a body shape unsuited for the chair if the arms were in place. The drainage holes and anti-slip texture are good design features.The price is on the high side for shower chairs, however overall this is a good product that's well suited for the purpose.

My mother in law isn't steady on her feet now and uses walkers and an electric scooter when she's out and about, but we were worried about her falling in the shower, so this shower chair came at just the right time. At £109.99 (price correct at the time of writing this review) its not cheap, but it's worth it for peace of mind, and this price is comparable with other shower chairs on the marketThe chair arrived flat packed, with an instruction leaflet and an Allen key, but it was pretty easy to assemble, and once up is very sturdy. It has a removable back rest and arms and the height can be adjusted too, it can hold up to 340lbs (around 24 stones)My mother in law was delighted with this chair, it's perfect for her to use, and means that we and her husband don't have to worry when she's in the shower by herself, meaning she can retain her privacy too. Happy to recommend
