Fantastic Z8 alternative
This is a 1st class product, used in z8, very well built, packaged and now have a battery that I can charge in the car anytime. Brilliant!

Great battery for Nikon users especially Z6iii cameras
Great battery for Nikon users especially Z6 cameras. Was a bit dubious about ordering as I have heard numerous comments about third party batteries not working in a Z6iii. Well this one definitely works with a Z6iii. Comes in a nice little box with a USB-A to type C cable. The beauty of this battery is that it can be charged directly with the cable plugged into it, you do not need a charger for it. Why oh why can all batteries not be like this.

Issue with the charging indicator light
Update: Smallrig very kindly reached out to me shortly after I posted my original review below to offer me a full refund, which I thought was incredibly kind. I have therefore reflected on the original review and given an extra star! Original review 3 stars: I have been using SMALLRIG camera accessories for several years now, and have always been impressed with their design and manufacturing standards. However, I have been a little disappointed with this EN-EL15C battery. It arrived in a branded cardboard box and was protected with cut-out foam. On taking the battery out, I put it on to charge using the supplied USB cable and my own charger. The little charging light came on and was showing a constant red. I left it on overnight, knowing that should be plenty of time to charge. However, when I looked in the morning, it was still showing red, and it hadn't changed to green. However, when I tested the battery in my Nikon Z6III, it was showing as fully charged. I assume I have a fault with the charging indicator light, which is a bit frustrating, especially since I have a similar style direct USB-C charging battery from K&F CONCEPT (which I also purchased on Amazon), and I had considered getting a second one from them, as that indicator light does change. Beyond the fault with the battery charging indicator light, it is a good size and fit for my Nikon Z6III, and there are no compatibility issues. I seem to get about the same amount of battery life between charges when compared to my original Nikon battery and my K&F CONCEPT battery. I managed to get this SMALLRIG battery on a special offer at £31.61 (and I have checked, and it comes on special offer quite frequently), but it is still slightly more expensive than other 3rd party batteries. In summary, an okay battery for my camera, but there are better ones available on Amazon for a similar price.

Third Party Battery compatible with Z6iii
I recenly bought a Nikon Z6iii and was mindful that my non-OEM EN-EL15c batteries would probably not work in this, although they are fine in my Z5. As predicted, they didn't. I purchased a spare Nikon battery for the Z6iii (it can get through batteries pretty fast) but I missed the ability to directly charge the battery out of camera via an inbuilt USB C socket, which is available on my other non-Nikon ones. This recent upgrade to the Smallrig EN-EL15c replacement was advertised as working with the Z6iii, and indeed it does! Not startingly cheaper than the Nikon own brand battery-I paid about 20% less- but it has the USB-C socket built in. No complaints about longevity so far, but I haven't had it long.

Great battery and good value too
No problems and seems to last as well as the original. Love the USB C port on the battery which is great for recharging when out as you don't need to carry the charger just plug in to the power bank. Orange colour is nice too.

Better than Nikon originals
I've had bad experience with cheap "compatible" batteries before, but these are excellent. I particularly like the USB-C socket to charge the battery directly. It also charges in camera like a "proper" EN-EL15C – others won't do this (EN-EL15 and EN-EL15B won't do it either). It also seems to last longer in every day use. This battery is no longer available from the Smallrig website, so buy one or two while you still can.

Awesome batteries
Excellent batteries at a much cheaper price than OEM. Love the fact the there is a USB-C charge port on them, great for charging anywhere! Can’t speak for the longevity yet. The orange version of these do work with the Nikon z6 iii

Agree with other reviewers that this battery depletes at a slower rate and lasts longer than the nikon battery. The type C cable plug is the best for emergency charging or simply field charging without a charging "box". It is recommended that you cycle the full charge to fully depleted three times to activate the "memory" of the battery to hold a larger charge, so it reads in two of the three battery manuals I have, so I do it. I have no issues with the lights, red charging and green charged, however long it takes, especially when building the memory where it may change in duration. These batteries are a money saver and are good quality, not cheap junk like some out there, and are fully compatible with my Z6III camera.

Discripion says that the pack includes 2 batteries, how ever only one was sent. False advertising.
