Review based on current selling price of 29.99 Dementia Activities for Seniors Busy Board Pros: - Well made generally speaking - Made from natural wood in the main - Compact and portable - Carry handle Cons: - Questionable usefulness for some objects - A mismatch of wood, plastic and metal - Limited appeal Summary: Generally a good item, but some of the items really seem to be aimed more at babies. I would have thought that item similar to everyday items such as buttonholes would be more useful?? Personally I feel the wheel & beads (and maybe the spinner) should be swapped out for thinks like combination lock etc. Something that elderly can practice with similar to items they might actually use.

A description of this product states for dementia this has been fantastic for our sons dexterity and hand coordination. As you can see from the pics there’s so many different activities for him to do which have helped improve and develop his hand coordination dexterity through play. The pros of really nicely made and there are no choking hazards initial initially identified from his play. As most toys with age restrictions, I simply put it down to parental approach. You know your child better than most and if you know your child is capable of playing with something then let them play with it. Whether you let them play with it unsupervised is your choice. My son is roughly 18 months and he absolutely loves this. He carries it round with him now thanks for the handle provided. There is so much creative fun to be had through Montessori play. I have to say this is certainly value for money. And given the quality of the assembly this is certainly stood up the test of time of being dropped, banged and knocked around by him.

This is a great fidget board for a range of neurodiversity issues. I have used it with colleagues at work as the combination of things to fiddle with keeps their attention, or helps them dissipate stressful energy into something satisfying. I then took it to my grandfather who is quite advanced in his dementia, and he immediately started fiddling with it to try and work out what it does. I think it represents decent value for money and is really nicely constructed. 5/5 stars from me!

A very practical toy for toddlers to get those fine motor skills working in overdrive. Hours can be spent with this. Its well built and solid. being in a house with two kids its been abused and thrown or left outside and everything is still working as it should. You cant go wrong with this product and I would recommend you to buy it!

got this for my 1 year old and its been a huge hit that even the big kids join in on the fun. he loves the fidget spinner in the middle and has fun moving and pressing all the other pieces. its made of good quality materials and the price is perfect for what you get. definitely recommend.
