Well, it has proximity sensors - whenever your fingertips come close to the top half of the PokéBall, the button in the middle glows, the closer you reach for the PokéBall, the brighter it glows (and it’s REALLY bright when you lay your hand on it).The base that holds the PokéBall has a touch pad (it is a sticker that has ‘Pokémon’ and ‘Poké Ball’ written on it, check the pictures I’ve included, it’s hard to miss), the touch pad switches the light of the base so you can choose between 7 vibrant and bright colors (again, check the pictures I’ve included).Also if you do not want to display it in the base with the lights, and want a more classy display for your PokéBall, it comes with a ring* that you put on top of the base (it has a special spot for the ring so it does not move at all), and you can put the PokéBall on top of the ring (check pictures).It’s probably the most unique Pokémon collectors’ item I’ve ever owned in my entire life.*The ring is located in the batteries’ holder at the bottom of the base, a Phillips screwdriver is required to open the batteries cover.Also, it comes with the batteries already installed so you don’t have to worry about it! This is so cool. There's actual weight to the ball, so it feels like there's a Pokemon inside. Go ahead, strike a Trainer pose, you'll want to throw this, it feels so real. Except don't, you'll bean the cat, or at best, put a hole in the wall. Great for doming the kids when they won't shut up about Pokemon, though. Which they'll probably talk about even more after you get them this. Eh, win some, lose some.Seriously though, this product is the coolest piece of Pokemon memorabilia I've ever had, and I own all of the mainline games. Makes such a great gift - but get two, you'll want one for yourself after picking one up. Also comes with a really cool display case.

I buy one of these every year, and I am not disappointed at all by the quality of every aspect. The paint is beautiful, and you get what you pay for. I would recommend them to anyone who is a fan of Pokemon.

Hubby loved it, now on the top shelf at the center of his display!! He talked about wanting it a few months ago and this week he got it💖💖 he specifically loves this ball and has a plush one on the shelf below in the center.

I am a huge Pokémon fan and these Poke balls are just so cool to have on display and lit up. I have all of them and they are made extremely well just don't really throw them they are not for that. The paint on them is flawless and look just like the real thing and when holding it you can feel they have some weight to them and feel like a real Pokémon trainer but again don't really throw them. My nephew loves looking at them when he comes over, he also is a huge Pokémon Fan. The only thing I wish they had was the sound of the Pokémon being captured and not just the light flashing on the front but still these things are awesome!

For $100 i wish it opened or did a bit more. But its very well made and heavy, a great display piece
