Q: Would it be possible to use this for washing private area?

No, if you notice carefully, there is an indent on the short side for the neck to fit in. I think it would be very uncomfortable to get the private area in this tray for washing.

Q: It looks like the one end drains the water out. What can be used to drain the water in to

place a bucket on the floor, under the open end, it will drain into it.

Q: I never received the expandable drain hose and stopper?

I didn’t receive it either. Waiting on replacement order. The manufacturer doesn’t have a working phone number and the website doesn’t include this item!

Q: How much water does it hold?

It's not designed to hold water, everything drains off to the right side into a trash can or some type of container.
