Easy shampoo in a hospital or home bed.
A close relative is permanently in a hospital bed. Needless to say, her hair needs cleaning every two weeks. This pan works extremely well as she only needs to raise her hear about 6 inches to shampoo her hair. Fits well in the bed and does not leak or spill water easily. This is a perfect solution. It is highly recommended.

Bed side hair washer
This was a very good and practical purchase for when my mother was with us. It helped us in washing her hair as she had been bedridden for quite some time.

Works... but drain placement makes it difficult to use
This shampoo bowl is great in theory... but elderly patients tend to have at least a bit of a hunched back... so their heads don't go back enough... so then the shampoo bowl has to be at an angle so that their head actually rests on it... and that means that the bowl isn't able to hold much water without it spilling out the front and all over their shoulders...Which would be fine... IF the drain hole were at the front... ... ... the drain hole placement being at the back/top of the bowl makes draining this thing HORRIBLE... i have to hold their head up and tip the bowl backwards and sideways to drain the bowl... that is very uncomfortable for the patients... and hard on my body as well... even if the shampoo bowl was being used on a client that is able to bend their head backwards propperly... if used on a bed, this thing does not sit flat enough for the drain to function properly... if the drain hole location was moved towards the front of the shampoo bowl, then this product would be fantastic... but with the drain placement how it is now... it's a pain in the ass to use and i would NOT recommend it.

Works like a charm
My Mom, 82 with dementia, resists getting her hair washed. I needed a way to wash her hair without getting water in her eyes. I found this and it is wonderful. It’s made of a thick, good quality plastic.

SO HELPFUL!!
The media could not be loaded. This product is so awesome!! This is such a GAME CHANGER! Being able to wash my mom’s hair while she’s in bed has been so helpful! Shes not able to get out of bed easily so this product is the best! Super easy to blow up, was able to blow up with mouth fats no pump needed. The drain is super easy to use and the hole for the neck is comfortable. My mom was very happy with this product!!! Highly recommend to anyone!

Flimsy
What I do not like:This is a thin material and probably will not last for long.It might be fine for washing braids or the end of a person’s hair, but be advised that the bottom cushion is so high and the neck space so narrow that the back of a persons head will probably not submerged into the water unless you’re really fill it up and if you fill too much the water will go over the side. You want to pay attention to where the drain hole is or else it may wind up in a very inconvenient place for a bedbound person if their headboard or that side of the bed is against the wall. I am using a hospital bed for my patient so it does move out but the tube disconnected at one point when draining and flooded the floor . Also be advised that this will not work work for someone with a thicker neck or a large person. The edges are not blunt where the head and neck fit.I did like the depth of it somewhat , because there will was less spillage over the side, and it is more compact, than some of them not as bulky. If I had to do over again, I probably would’ve chose a different tougher brand that I had in the past.

Shampoo basin works very well
I washed my Sister’s hair using this basin and it was rigid so easy to move. It comes with a gray plug so I found no reason to use the white 12” drain tube. It’s a good idea to lay a towel just under the shoulders & continuing under the basin for safety sake to avoid possible spillage. But I found it wasn’t necessary. I found having a small pitcher (appx 1 1/2cup) worked well to wet head, then pour water out/drain. Lather head, pour another pitcher to rinse, drain, rinse again if necessary. Don’t center head on middle hump water may pour out near neck. It’s a learning curve but worth the results. I was very pleased.

No more awkward ACV rinses!
Bought this to do ACV rinses on my locs instead of having to awkwardly hover over a sink and it works great. Tossed it on the floor, filled it up, and let the magic happen.Pros:It was incredibly easy to inflate. The material is extremely sturdy. I was worried that hot water would warp or damage the plastic but it held its own lolEasy to clean. Pop it in the shower, a little soap and a hose down is all you need.Comfy. 1000x better than dong the sink hover or struggling to hop on the counter lol I like to place it on the floor for back support and throw a few towels at my neck to catch any spills.Cons:The hose attachment was bent in about 5 or 6 places from the way it was packed and I struggled to drain it after use so I ended up cutting it off. No biggie for me as I just dump the water in the tub when I’m done anyway. The neck support was awkward to use. I had to deflate it to get the nape of my neck submerged like I wanted but for what the product is intended for- I don’t think that would be an issue for most. The size is debatable. I have shoulder length/ thick locs and they fit comfortably inside for a rinse but for someone with mid back locs or longer- it may be a tight fit.
