Affordable Brightening Serum That Keeps My Glow Consistent
ANAI RUI is one of those Korean skincare brands I love and this 10% tranexamic acid serum has earned a spot in my regular rotation. I use it when I want to keep that glass-skin glow going while also staying on top of stubborn hyperpigmentation. With the combo of tranexamic acid, niacinamide, kojic acid, arbutin, and ceramides, it feels like a well-rounded formula that supports both brightness and a healthy-looking skin barrier. It has been very effective in improving hyperpigmentation not only on my face but also on the other parts of my body. The texture is light, spreads easily, and layers well under moisturizer and sunscreen. It isn’t sticky, greasy, or heavy, which matters to me because I’m consistent only when a product feels comfortable. Over time, my skin looks more radiant and even, and my dark spots stay more controlled. Price-wise, this is the kind of affordable product that performs like a much more expensive option. If you’re building a brightening routine without blowing your budget, this one is worth trying.

Really impressed with this serum!
I’ve been using the ANAI RUI 10% Tranexamic Acid Serum for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly loving it. I had a few dark spots and uneven areas on my cheeks, and they’ve definitely started to fade. My skin looks brighter, smoother, and more even overall. The texture is great — light, absorbs fast, and doesn’t leave any sticky residue. I have sensitive skin and was a little nervous to try something new, but this hasn’t caused any irritation or breakouts. It layers perfectly under my moisturizer and makeup. For the price, this serum is such a great find. My skin feels softer and looks healthier, and I can actually see a difference. I’ll definitely be reordering! ---

Made in China
ChatGPT said it is made in China with Swiss technology. I can't tell it makes my melasma lighter.

Effective slow process
This helps a lot. I have been struggling with melasma for 10+years. This is so far the best product I have found. I have been using it daily under my moisturizer for over 6mo now. The spots are not completely gone, but they have lighten up very considerably. I will continue to use this serum hoping that my spots will be mostly gone in the upcoming few months. I do recommend wearing a hat and apply sunscreen as directed even on cloudy days.

lightweight quick absorbing non-sticky and 10%!
Finally! A lightweight quick absorbing non-sticky 10% tranexamic acid serum with clinically proven supporting ingredients to tackle hyperpigmentation and melasma. I had purchased 7+ tranexamic serums searching for a nonsticky meaningful formula and read about this one. Additional skincare ingredients info/routine/results: I layer this tranexamic acid serum with a 20% L-ascorbic acid serum (pure vitamin C), an additional 2% alpha arbutin serum, and 15% Azelaic acid. I do usually wait 10-30 mins in between depending on the ingredient. I'm currently hunting for an easy 3-4% kojic acid serum to add to the mix to increase the potency. In the evenings I also use .20 retinal (retinaldehyde) aka vitamin A (a retinoid) which only has one step to convert to Retinoic acid (i began with .05 and increased the % every 2-3 weeks). FYI - unlike retinol, which requires two steps to convert to the pure form of retinoic acid and it loses some efficacy/potency along the way (it also happens to be a bit harsh for the skin to acclimate). Retinal has had the most impact on improving my skin (collagen, crows feet that were beginning to form are gone, improved my melasma and hyperpigmentation, and underlying redness is gone). I also use a several signal communicating peptides at their studied maximum recommended %'s: Syn Tacks 1%, Matrixl 3000 8%, Syn Coll 3%, Matrixyl Synthe-6 2%,Uplevity 2%, Syn-Ake 5%, Relistase 4%, and many more :-) Yes I'm throwing everything at the wall since I skincare was not in my vocabulary until about a yr ago...not even a moisturizer :-/ I'm 47 and for the first time began skincare in Dec 2023 after a lengthy research period and my reflection. Honestly I still frequently research products and read supporting studies. With my detailed skincare routine I have been able to take many years off and reverse quite a bit of sun damage (i'm a 90's kid who tans easily, didn't used to care for sunscreen, and began paying the price mid-forties). My primary issue is the constant struggle with melasma and keeping the hyperpigmentation in check. Tranexamic acid at a meaningful % is a necessary ingredient in the tool box. Thrilled I finally found a serum that works for me and layers easily with friendly ingredients. If I remember in 8-12 weeks, I’ll circle back with a results update.

Brightening and redness correction
This really helps with redness and lightening. I burned my skin a few days ago visiting for the holidays. When I got back home I used this for 3 days and all of the redness disappeared. Extra good if you put in the fridge. Great for the price too since you get other acids in it too.
