does it get the job done? Yes, but be warned. I gave 4 stars simply cause i had to replace mine with a new one. Charging the 8 AAA no problem. but as soon as you charge more than 2 AA the systems fail check lights come one.Design could be better, cause the flashing LED lights can be confusing. that said, happy to help the world by reducing the amount of batteries we use.Built quality is fantastic, its sturdy and and well laid out, and great for not having a "specific" sequence to follow for charges. Now in regards to the value for money, simple and easy yes. For the cost of a single 20 pack AAs and single AAAs pack you have an good extended savings. Plus Extra batteries are well priced.Filling out my Battery Daddy with these going into the future.Only thing missing from the box was a USD-c Charging block, But we all have those kicking around im sure.

I used to have an amazon basics battery charger with the usb plugin on the side. That one worked for years and was great but just stopped charging batteries recently. Tried this one, because I never used the usb plugin and this one was about $8 at the time while the other was $12. I thought I'd give it a try. This one is awful. Took forever to charge and now, it appears the 3rd slot won't charge batteries at all. Different batteries keep "error" blinking. It's just garbage. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I'm done with it. But for $8, not worth jumping through hoops to get a refund. I took a risk and lost. It happens.

These work great! I’ve been needing a decent rechargeable battery set for awhile. I used to use energizer, but I couldn’t justify their price point. Amazon had the perfect value that I was more than happy to purchase.I need 4 at a time, so I always have one set charging and one set in use. They charge pretty decently fast and I have had no issues.

Have a tendency to charge batteries at its own discretion. Iv tried to use it with Amazon essentials batteries as well as Duracell but it is inconsistent. The size is perfect and fits in any outlets but is not worth the headache This time it will charge next time it won’t. It works half the time. And may be more trouble than it’s worth. I would say buy a better charger for a few dollars more and avoided the issue.
