Q: what is the size of the globe?

What I bought was an 8 inch illuminated globe..it's a lovely size...not too big and doesn't take up alot of space which is ideal for my son's bedroom

Q: I have just purchased this item and can't work out how to turn the light on?? is it supposed to come on automatically when you plug in the usb?

Hi the one I bought has a on/off switch in the wire (small black switch )

It’s usb. You can pick up a cheap plug to fit as I did

Very nice globe, A bit smaller than I thought it would be.

Very nice globe, A bit smaller than I thought it would be. It has well detailed maps. I find that the included magnifying glass wasn't very useful but as I have others it's not a problem. It's useful as a basic globe to demonstrate to a young child what the world is like and our place in it. I like the light up star map effect. Overall a good product for the price.

Excellent value for money. Bought as a Christmas gift for my grandson who's 7 years old, and this is a great way to learn about the world. There are good books to accompany the globe too.

It is a good one but a bit small in size. There is a magnifying glass included but not always comfortable to use it. It is value for money and good colours
