Hush Puppies Men's Strategy Oxford

This shoe is fantastic for TSA Precheck, old travelers, pilots, flight attendants, and airport employees that get to keep their shoes on during TSA screening. Many shoes claim to be metal detector safe, yet they still beep. Not these, they go right through the metal detectors without beeping.Comfort wise they are great. Easy break in, I had a minor pinch by my little toe, but after half a day the shoe broke in just fine. The sporty insole is nice but lacks some support. I suppose that's not an issue for desk bound workers, but some support insoles might help mobile people. I wear a 10.5 in Nike/reebok/asics/addidas and these Hush Puppies fit well. They are a little loose with thin dress socks, but every dress shoe I have ever owed have been like that. So, I just wear thicker dress socks.

This was the first time I brought the shoes online, and I was not sure whether it will fit as expected or not.but the shoe fit as expected. cushion is very good and comfortable, in my opinion the shoe cushion is better than the Asics Kayano, my sport shoe costed me $100. In my opinion, Price is also reasonable for the shoe if you compare it with what you get in Macys or JC Penney for the same price.

Bought the Hush Puppies Strategy WW, Dunham Bryce Oxford 4E, Rockport Editorial offices plain toe 4E as I have wide feet with a bothersome bunion on the left foot.Hush puppies definitely the best built of the 3 pairs with the full leather upper vs. the nylon cloth inside the Rockport and Dunham.Rockport looks a bit sleeker than the Hush Puppies, but feels far less 'substantial'. Also slightly less wide than the Hush Puppies which was rubbing against my bunion a bit.Dunham looks the most casual of the three because of the stitching on the side of the sole and the sole being a more casual design than the Hush Puppies and Rockports.Hush Puppies is the only pair of the three that hugs my heel so there is little slippage. The leather around the ankle has a nice snug feel compared with the Dunhams and Rockports.The Hush Puppies leather is the shiniest (perhaps just a bit much) of the three pairs - time will tell how this holds up. FWIW, it's also apparently waterproof, and not heavy like other waterproof shoes I've owned in the past.I intend to keep the Hush Puppies as they are the most comfortable on account of the snug heel, little slippage and wide toe box. Also because it appears to be built the best of the three and I really abuse my shoes. Will post an update in a few weeks.

He's very happy I bought them. The style is nice, in between dress slacks and khakis. He wore them all day the first time so I know they're comfortable.NOTE: These run smaller than Hush Puppies Gus. Had to return the wide and order x-wide in this style. So if you wear other HP styles be aware that you may need to order a different size.Nice bonus, even the wider size still looks slimmer than the Gus.

In the beginning the shoe was a little stiff around the toe area and ankle, but this is normal for any shoe. Once I broke them in, I have had zero comfort issues.I wear these shoes on average 11-12 hours a day, sometimes longer, and haven't had any pain in my feet since I started using them. Size wise, I would say these are on the larger side of 15, but not enough to make a significant difference in fit.So far the "water proof" feature has worked as advertised, my feet have stayed warm and dry in wet conditions.

I had a pair of Hush Puppies that I wore occasionally over 16 years. The leather cracked in the flex area the last year. I read reviews of other brands and decided to go back to Hush Puppies based on its reviews. The shoe fits well, the toe is broader for comfort but not quite as dressy as the old pair. I used my Navy training to put a spit shine on the toe, and now they dazzle.

So far so good, I have worn these shoes for the past two weeks with no issues. They are comfortable and fit as expected, and best of all I can get through the metal detectors at work without setting off the detectors. One small negative, is the finish on the top of the shoe, is slightly textured so it will take a bit of time and elbow grease to get them to shine the way I like my shoes to shine, but this “imperfection” is not enough to deter from the five stars

Had the shoes for not quite a month. Used twice to go out to dinner and once to wear all day for 3 days at a conference. The soles disintegrated! Such a shame as the fit was great and they were comfortable.
