Men’s Ghost Max 2 Running and Walking Shoes

This is the first pair of Brooks I have owned. For years I have unsuccessfully sought a good, comfortable, sturdy walking shoe. I read a review that indicated the Brooks Ghost Max 2 was one of the best shows for heavy men. The review stressed numerous factors for the shoe's success and that what made it truly amazing is that it is highly comfortable but achieves that comfort without being squishy and unsupported. I bought them for general daily use and have been exceedingly pleased with the level of support they deliver while being very comfortable. They are definitely my favorite new general use, and walking shoe.

A bit narrow on the toebox but in gerenal very confortable. Lot's of cushioning and shock absorbtion. I used to to have a New Balabce fresh foam which were super confortable but the cushioning did not last very long. This will be the test for Brooks, can the support last longer? We'll see. So far 5 stars. We'll come back in a year.. ;)

Great fit... Comfortable insole... Good durability, get 6-8 months before the sole wear through and I walk about 10k a day...

27 year UPS driver here. This are the most comfortable and supportive shoes I’ve ever owned. This shoe offers the most padding on the bottom of the foot, especially the fore foot. Wish I found these earlier.

I'm thankful that brooks running makes a 4e shoe since my feet are so darn wide. The ghost max 2 are a well made shoe that adds support and cushioning for walking, running, and standing all day. You can definitely feel the shock absorption with every step. I work as a physical therapist on my feet all day and these shoes definitely save my feet. Some ideas for improvement would include having more color options for the bigger width sizes and the lateral support can occasionally dig into the lateral foot for wide foot people like myself. Otherwise, I recommend this shoe. TLDR Pros: - Substantial cushioning - Solid support - Different options to tie shoes - Max comfort for long days on feet TLDR cons: - lateral support can dig into foot - limited colors and options for the width

Great walking and work out sneakers! Very comfortable, with plenty of toe room width in the front of the sneaker. If you need a little extra room in the toe box, these definitely meet that requirement. Well constructed, and have good looks. Highly recommend.

I bought these for walking on a treadmill 7 days a week. They are light weight, comfortable fit and feel like I’m walking on air compared to other sneakers I’ve owned. I can feel why they promote these as good for joint health.

I have purchased the same shoe twice. The first time, I thought "kind of pricy" but after receiving them, and wearing them for a few weeks, I thought, "Well worth every penny I paid for them". I was motivated to purchase the same shoe again, just in case they discontinued the Ghose Max 2. Super comfortable. Foot fatigue is gone. I'm a high school teacher, and a rather hyperactive one at that. I never sit down when students are in my classroom, and I'm all over the place while teaching. These shoes are the best I've ever worn in my 35 years of teaching.
