I recently purchased the Tapo cameras, and I am beyond impressed with their performance! The setup was incredibly easy—within minutes, I had them connected to my Wi-Fi and ready to go, thanks to the clear instructions in the app.Image Quality: The camera's video quality is fantastic, with crisp HD resolution, even at night. The night vision feature works perfectly, providing clear and sharp images even in complete darkness.Motion Detection: The motion detection is spot-on and can be customized to suit my needs. I love how I can receive instant notifications if there’s any activity detected. It adds an extra layer of security for my home, giving me peace of mind.App Control: The Tapo app is intuitive and easy to navigate. I can check live footage, adjust settings, and review recorded videos all from my phone. It’s incredibly convenient to be able to monitor my home remotely.Two-Way Audio: The two-way audio feature is a nice touch! I can easily communicate with visitors or speak to my pets if needed. It’s a small feature but adds a lot of value.Overall, these cameras offer excellent value for money, providing top-notch security features, easy installation, and user-friendly controls. Awesome product- I do not need to re-charge it because the sun keeps this fully charged. When its cloudy, the battery kicks in and that will re-charge on it's own the next time it is sunny. If you so wish, you can detach the camera and charge it with a USB-C (included) cable on your own as well but I have not needed to. The solar panel can be moved as well, it does not need to be hooked right above the camera as it is shown (I left it like that since my camera is in a sunny enough location). The panel comes with a cord that is like 4 feet long that can hook to the camera along with a separate base to move it into a sunnier location if your camera is not in an area that gets enough sun (like hooked to a tree). Includes everything you need to hook it to a wall etc.- screws and wall anchors, along with a handy sticker that you can put on the wall to use as your drill hole guide so you are not having to hold it up and draw holes/drill.As to the camera video/photos- very good. I have no issue with that, even at night. It comes with several features like an alarm if you want to turn on to scare intruders, a light that you can manually turn on at night, and a manual microphone to speak into it from your app/phone. You can also set the detection area in case you do not want certain areas to set it off in its range (which the range is VERY good as well), and also set it to alert your phone for only certain things like pets or people or cars only etc. Pretty much if you want to customize it, you can.Setup was very easy with the Tapo app, and it works well with Alexa/Google. Anyone can do it- even if you do not know much about apps on the phone.Price was good as well for what you get in my opinion. If you want a cheaper option, beware of the quality of the picture you get and also the battery life. JUST as good as the RING that I also own, and it is cheaper! It comes with a 30 day free TAPO cloud subscription similar to the ring one, but I never needed it. I have it save to a SD card since it includes a slot for that (which you have to purchase the card on your own- but they are cheap these days).Hope that helps! Well worth it if you do not want the RING cost but still want the RING quality.

Good quality camera and this camera model does link to his own app but can also allow the kasa camera to be use in tp link app which is good so you dont have to be in between cameras. Was easy to install, worth the money, good quality in video and audio, love that cones with solar panel. Here are pic during the day and night.

Bought this camera mainly for monitoring my backyard and my livestock. The general build quality is excellent, the camera feels solid and for the price I really didn't expect it to be this good. The image quality is good but not the best, 1080 p is ok but at least 2k would be better. the motion detection is very effective and the AI detection works way better than i had anticipated and with future updates I think it will get even better. Adding cameras via the app is simple and straightforward and camera customization features are very good. Audio quality is a bit low and overall not great. Night vision works great and the color night vision is also pretty good. Wifi range is decent and the solar charging capability is very good. Considering the overall cost of the camera and the features you get, I think it was good value for money, their is room for improvement but if you are looking for a camera with sd card storing ability and the optional cloud storage service, I think its a good buy and I definitely would buy this brand of camera again.

I needed an outdoor video camera to watch my back patio and front door, so I bought the Tapo doorbell camera as well. Since they were both TP-Link I new and trusted the brand because my Wi-Fi router is TP-Link. I also wanted to have one app for both cameras. The camera is easy to set up, easy to use, has really good video and sound quality, and adjustable sensitivity. The best benefit is NO in app adds! A great compliment to a home security system!
