Effortlessly cuts cardboard!!!
This is a pretty impressive one trick pony tool! It easily and quickly cuts cardboard boxes! The tool is comfortable to hold and slides through boxes with ease! While I don’t cut tons of cardboard boxes, I rent out a couple of my rooms and people are always moving in and have plenty of boxes - this will be of great help! I like that it uses standard razor blades so I don’t have to hunt for replacements. It came with a serrated blade already installed, and it works great! I love that there is a safety covering to prevent injury as well! Overall, this is a great tool for cutting boxes fast and easily!

Better than I expected, excellent tool.
It works better than I expected it to and the blades last longer than I expected. There is a bit of a learning curve - how to hold it against the cardboard [sounds silly, I know] and how fast you pull. Also you want to let it spool all the way up [takes about a half second] before you actually start cutting. I've found that most times it works better if I am pulling two pieces through at once [ such as a box folded over] as it fits the opening better and I don't have to worry as much about technique. Cutting 'with the grain' of the cardboard is VERY easy. Cutting against it is a bit more work but still works well. I don't know what the duty cycle is and I don't want to wear it out - but I had a LOT of boxes to break down from Christmas gifts - probably 50 boxes - and I broke them all down into itty bitty squares over the course 3 sessions. The tool didn't feel like it was giving out, I just didn't want to risk it. Ultimately time will tell if it lasts but so far my initial impressions are very good. It is a bit expensive for what it is but if you have to break down a lot of boxes on a regular basis I'd say it's worth it.

Very effective, but cutting angle is picky and fairly loud.
Pros: - Cuts cardboard fairly rapidly. Cons: - Angle is picky. You have to align it just right or it won't cut. It should be designed to allow a wider entry angle. - Fairly loud. Not a big deal, but it's unnecessarily loud. - Kind of expensive for what it does. I'd expect a more premium product for the price. That said, I am keeping it, and it does making dealing with Amazon boxes a lot easier. I think they have room for improvement on the design.

Everything I Hoped For
I wasn’t sure I needed something like this, but after breaking down a ton of boxes every week, I decided to give the BoxBlayde a try—and I’m really glad I did. It’s well-built, has a nice weight to it, and feels more like a proper power tool than a gadget. The motor is strong, it cuts clean, and the fact that it uses regular utility blades is a big win for me. Much more efficient than the other rotary cutters out there for sure. I’ve used it on everything from thin shipping boxes to thicker appliance packaging, and it’s handled it all without any issue. Battery life is solid—I’ve gone through several sessions without needing to recharge. Overall, it’s just made an annoying chore a lot easier. Didn’t expect to like it this much, but now I recommend it to anyone who deals with a lot of cardboard.

Maintaining proper angel is crucial.
This cutter is a beast. Long lasting battery. Cuts very heavy materials and is ergonomics at its best.

rushed into production by someone who has no clue how to make a solid product
Works as advertised and cuts really fast through cardboard. Propriety non-serviceable battery that takes forever to charge. Zero safety features from accidentally turning it on so don’t expect to see this in a warehouse near you anytime soon. It’s heavy and non pocket friendly so a holster would be needed since you’ll be setting it down a bit. Seriously screams “rushed into production by someone who has no clue how to make a solid product “

Unbelievable box cutter!
I've seen ads for this all over Facebook and I finally broke down and got it from here to save on shipping. Gotta say, it has more than paid for itself in time and convenience with breaking down boxes into bite size pieces! My only complaint is the slight noise generated from cutting but that makes sense because it is a motorized device. It cuts through cardboard like butter. Seriously. If you used to use old fashioned box cutters to break down boxes... Get this. You can thank me later.

Its the little things
No problems, works as advertised really well. One thing that I thought that was very helpful, and it might be a small thing thing that would be unnoticed, is that they imprinted the name "boxblade" on the charging device. I don't know about you but I have a million of these plugs that I have no idea what is what and what it is for, so for this small effort to inform us all, hats off. I wish more companies would do this. By the way this thing really works great.
