I was apprehensive to buy these being they are a .7. I usually buy thinker pens, more a 1.0 and higher. I will say these are a really nice pen and write very nicely. they are smear resistant, and write smoothly. I was actually shocked at how comfortable they felt while I was journaling. I really like the colors too and plan on buying more indifferent shade.

These are really nice gel pens. I had never used a Mr. Pen product so decided to try these. I was attracted to the pen colors in this set. They are quite different than what’s offered in most gel pen sets. When opened, the ink flowed smoothly in every single pen, were juicy and very pigmented. Only 2 colors were close to the same with all others very different from each other. A tiny complaint would be that the pen color doesn’t match the pen body but the pen body colors are so pretty that it’s a minor issue. Since it’s a smaller set, you can quickly learn the colors. On that note, I like these so much I wish they were available in a larger set. Also note, these are not sparkly or metallic, which is a nice change also. Mr. Pen offers an attractive sort of warranty in that you can contact them if you have any issues and I believe they will replace them. Nice. Final thoughts: I will definitely be trying more Mr. Pen products. Highly recommend.

Mr. Pen’s colors work great! They write smoothly, the pigmentation is vibrant, and they don’t smudge or bleed through the page. Perfect for notes, journaling, or adding a pop of color to anything. Highly recommend—excellent quality and super reliable!

Decent pens. The ink does not smear which is nice, but the writing is not consistent. The ink would run out mid word and would have to shake to try to get it to work to finish writing. Like the colors, not the quality.

Great with a caveat. Colors are fun and smooth, most are opaque. You do have to make sure they are SUPER dry before you try to go over them, say to fill in a missing spot, and then you must go lightly or the ink will scratch back up. The only bummer is the barrel color is not even close on some of the colors. I made swatches on sticky labels so I know what I'm actually getting. A bit of a bummer, because thevarrel color on the light violet and pinks were some of the colors I was looking forward to! In the photo, you can see some are not as opaque as others.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I purchased these pens after seeing a Pen Test by Memories By Meyers! She showed how smoothly these pens wrote and right away I was sold! I was also excited to see that these were Mr. Pen brand! I love Mr. Pen brand! Like always, they came with a cute little mustache sticker…which my kiddos always fight over! These pens write smooth like butter and the ink does not “skip” as you are writing!

I haven't bought gel pens in years but these seem pretty nice! We were at dinner and our waitress had these on her to sign the receipt and I bought some right when we got home. They write exceptionally well. These aren't great for coloring as they write over printed imagery on the page and take a sec to dry nicely, but for Journaling they'd be great I think. I intend to use them for that any way. The plain black ones are nice too.

Very disappointed in the color selection of the ink. The plastic (exterior) pen cases display a wonderful variety of colors however about 50% of the ink colors do not come close to matching the exterior pen case color. For one, I did not receive any pens with purple ink. I now need to order more pens , and can’t return these as I wrote on the cases. I have some beautiful highlighters from this brand that I love to use in my Bible so I was sincerely disappointed with this selection of pens.

it is good, grate color range but has some similar colors and also one that doesn’t match with the outside, the pens are very smooth and overall good quality

They write so smoothly and are well pigmented. The look overall is very aesthetically pleasing too. I was surprised how cheap they are considering the high quality
